there's a caveat. For example, I ordered a voopoo drag from fasttech and chose the free *registered* Singapore post ship, and it's been 30 days and it's still not here. So i don't really recommend the china free ship. They usually provide upgrade options.. i should have done it.. for $2 i could have upgraded it to Australian express, it never takes more than 2 weeks and is much better tracking.. but just a heads up not to be too tempted by the free china ship.. it's REALLY slow, and now FT said, yes it's taken longer than normal, and it may take up to another 2 months to investigate the issue fully LOL. So who knows.. Health cabin and Heaven gifts have a wide variety of ship. Stuff from them always arrives

The glass broke in drilling process ?
It was done but leaked?

It was drilled out fine. filled it up and my hand was covered in juice before I could grab the plug and stick it in the hole.

I would think it would leak like crazy if you eliminated the vacuum in the tank...

Haven't done exactly that, but I've done stuff like that. I tell people that I just had a "senior moment".

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for this thread. Been using an ego one mega v2 for approx 8 mos now. Unlike others, I only have 2. I'm a single tobacco juice guy. Just don't like the sweet/fruity juices.
After 8 mos I've only changed out 3 CLR coils, and thats only out of laziness to rewick at the time. The ease to rewick once a week is a godsend.
The tank sits atop a Pico and occasionally an ego one mega battery. Never gurgles nor leaks. I still use an STM occasionally because I like the top fill. But that gurgles & leaks at times.
I've dropped the tank/pico a few times and still kicking,, just a few nicks & scratches.
Highly recommend this tank, the CLR coils & pico mod. Perfect setup to keep me off the analogs.
I only wish it were top fill...

I gotts many a tank due to the fear of GOV throwing the hammer down {vap-apocalypse}, I also tend to use them (give away) to get others to qwit smoking when possible

I have tobacco in my blood and it's my FAV vape but I tend to dabble in the bakery styles also - fruity is ok to taste, but not an ADV for me...

I am a fan of the Kanger SubTanks

buy more ego ones, the other white meat... ​

Too bad it won't take CLRs. What do you think of the coils for the ProCore Aries?

well the tank and two coils just came with the primo mini kits I bought so I thought I'd try them before I threw them in a box
Pro C1 .4Ω was first - BIG AIR wow ! but worked very good, so good made me wanna try the other one so took it out after a tank full
and inserted the Pro C1-S .25Ω (S = small air hole) it's been in there for better than a month and STILL working great
big smooth vapor, super taste, just works oh-so-well - a very very nice tank/coil combo
I wish they would release an RBA coil head for the Aries tank (not gonna start buying coils, )

@pufZeppelin yesterday my Presa with attached eggroll fell from my desk and it ended up with the dreaded "separated base"...

I searched this thread for your fix/repair picture (it involved pliers)...but could not find it...

Any chance you could re-post that pic???

This a happened to me a couple times. I lay the base down on a hard surface with 510 threads up. Take a 7/16" socket and put it over the 510 connection and give a firm rap. Works wonders.

lol, I actually have a set of tiny channel lock pliers but they are JUNK (a kit of smalls from Tractor Suppy)
I REALLY wish they worked 'cause it would be so cool (helpful to have a tiny pair)

what I think works good for THIS project is a set of 'duck-bill' pliers

Like a pico -s mine did the same as it came with no instructions for its top fill tank.
I learned that the airflow has to be closed off before filling then i screw the topcap back on then i open the airflow.
If by chance you did not close the airflow try it before filling if you did then i do not know what to say other than sorry you had a mess.

Yeah that's exactly what happened. By the way, it was just a plastic Bellcap not a Mega so no big deal. Haven't tossed it yet I may play with it again.

Interesting as that coil they picture looks similar to Joyetech CL coil head except the bottom pin on it looks somewhat different.
You can always email them and ask i suppose thats if they even know.
The bottom link you posted just shows the device and not the coil.
