yepper, heard the peeps talk about it and thought " I NEED TO KNOW "

SS/Cotton that fits the ego-rolls works for me {.6Ω-SS-single wire-vertical} tight MTL draw

so all the peeps that wanna use such without having to build, has the option (TC or Watts)
and now that I know, I can recommend an alternative to Building CLR's

:img: all is good for the eGo ONE tank system :img:
Who would not want to build a CLR? So easy-peasy:)

So...I really don't want to read through 397 pages to hopefully find the answer to this question...anyway, when I build a coil with the CLR I get No Atomizer on my mod ( eleaf istick Pico 75W). Every time. I have read up on the procedure to make the coil and have watched a couple of youtube videos so I can't figure out what is going on. When I use the regular CL coil they work fine.

    Any ideas?

Maybe yours will Jeannie-blink soon too. Have faith... (said the guy who was sure his were lost in the ethers).

I wish! I live in the Great White North where Canada Post puts a low priority on China/Singapore Post :( It is what it is....

Shipments out of China that are not e-Packet are routinely taking between 2 to 3 months now. Even e-Packet that used to take 10 days is sometimes taking upwards of 3 weeks these days.

    No matter, I'm not in a hurry for those Tron's. They're stash/give-away supplies. :D

Most likely, one of the leads has come loose while you were installing the wick.

I use these to hold the coil in place while installing the wick. Dissecting Forceps - Curved Fine Point

Don't grab the coil with them. Put them in front of the coil, to hold it in place, as you pull the wick through. ;)

In today's episode of "Adventures with Eggrolls" >

One of my elders, now 325 days young, needed to be re-wicked (for the billionth time). Cotton was tight in this one. Once again, by the time I got it removed the coil was so disfigured that one wrap of it was actually sitting outside of the wall.

I pondered simply rebuilding it, but I had to know...

Took out my trusty tweezers, and a screwydriver, then started playing with it (so to speak). A tug here, a pull there, finishing up by a careful push back inside - and a squeeze.

Cleaned it up, put it on a base, then dropped it onto the 521.

Not only did it not short, but it rang up a nice 1.34. It looked perfect in firing, with zero "bounce". It has lived on to be wicked again!

I'm sorry but these things are TOUGH.

Any of you folks get notification from 101 Vape about a recall on the LG HE2 batteries they had on sale a few weeks ago? I know @Shawn Hoefer got a boat load of them. I only got six. and they're all authentic, but anyone who bought any might want to check them. Here's the notice (I can't post the picture):

You are being contacted today because you placed an order for LG HE2 Red batteries that may be fake and unsafe to use for vaping. The affected batteries would have been ordered between July 14thand July 25th of 2017.

The affected batteries contain two identifying marks that are shown in the pictures below. First on the bottom negative terminal there will be a laser etched Greek Phi letter Φ. The second feature will be on the positive terminal. The affected batteries will have 3 legs attaching the positive terminal rather than the 4 they should have. This is further displayed in the pictures below.

If you have think you may have received the HE2 batteries containing either of the marks discontinue use of the batteries immediately and contact us to arrange a pre-paid label and refund. Please call 1-855-505-8273 between 9am-4pm pacific time, send an email to support@101vape.com or message us through our contact page Contact us - 101 Vape

ew ew ew - I like stories (and that was a good one ^) - here's one...

a tale, of a frisky eggroll... named Vic Joyesh

an eggroll was walking thru the park and got tired
he looked around for a place to sit but could find none
so he invented these to sit on and kept inventing and kept on & on...
    upload_2017-8-18_21-41-39.png
    the first ever eVic
    upload_2017-8-18_21-20-0.png

then he thought he could do a box style
    upload_2017-8-18_21-30-11.png

he thought that was a good idea, so he made many more . . .
and the peasants danced in the streets . . .
    upload_2017-8-18_21-22-50.png

so the moral of the story is, invent something... every Vic is cool

    :tumble: o_O

The stock coils are quite sturdy. I have found that if you heat up the coil prior to removing the cotton/poly things go easier. That junk sticking to the wick/coil is softened a fair amount and the wick releases from the hot coil. I use 30g wire and this technique has saved many of my builds. My present SS 1.25ish coil is about 3 months old being rewicked each 7-10 days

Excellent idea! I have never successfully rewicked a 30g coil. Now, maybe I can!

Last time i had an ego style.... I lasted about 2 days before going back to analogs.... Unfortunately not for me i hated it so bad barely any flavor or vapor (this was a couple years ago though) Managed to quit only using a regulated mod and a nautilus, without those i'd still be on cigarettes no doubt.

I've been vaping for a while no uses for these and quite satisfied with my aspire nx75+big baby and fat scylla sv tanks. Thanks for the links though but no need for these at all (plus i kinda hate joyetech looks and feels cheap imo, then again i'm spoiled with the evo since it's mostly metal)

Joyetech makes a good inexpensive reliable product for the masses. Calling them cheap, when you are tooting on a SMOK product is humorous. SMOK is without question the world's largest manufacturer of crappy and unreliable vape gear.

Blu takes exception to your lack of recognizing them... ;)
