EGO or Tornado and who has the best deals.

Well I know I will be moving up to better batteries soon and the ego or tornado seem like a good way to go. I realize they are the same but what is the best package and who should I get it from.

Are there other options I should consider?

I have two 510 kits can I just buy a five pack of batteries or do I need adapters or what?

only Totaly wicked has 5 pac batts that i`ve seen, TW you get 2 attys. other place, janty world usa, longer warrenty, one atty... you can get batts, cone seperatly at TW...but the right charger really make that big ole batt shine, ie, the standard 510 wont quickly charge the tornado/ego batt, i use that batt with 901s and 801s, it feels like a SD in battery life, i vape too much, hehehe got 90 mls of e-liquid in this week...hehehe

The platinum color at TW is really nice. I think Janty has silver. Wonder who else has platinum? Would like more of this color.

The OEMs come in all four colours, I don't know who has them already in the US, but IIRC at least two different vendors.

If you don't buy OEM, stick with Janty. Their atties are a tad better then all other Joye 510s, and particularly, the faster charger is great. (You can buy the faster charger from TW as well - only it costs extra.) The normal 510 charger you get from TW takes at 4-6 hours, IIRC, the faster Janty charger (or any charger specifically for the eGo) takes 1.5-2 hours.

Janty warranty is also considerably better than TWs, for the OEMs, check their pages.

I have the platinum, only because they were out of the black ones. After I got it, I was quite pleased with the color selection! As for the cone, I am not a fan of those, the draw is lighter with it off.

But the vapour is warmer with a cone, and you can always unscrew it a tiny bit to get an easy draw and still warmer vapour.
Plus, no leaking with that cone!

TW is the only place I've seen the adapters so you can charge with a regular 510 charger.

I've never bought anything there,because of all the neg reviews & dog gone it,I don't like that little devil8-ohead they put on everything.
I do have a neighbor that's order from them several times & has been pleased with all orders.Got to say his Tornado is pretty amazing.

Of course,DS gets tons of neg feedback & I've never had a problem except they are always out of stock. Same with Janty,never a problem when I order,they're just always out of what I want. Plus you can't beat their guarantee. I've heard TW's is kinda iffy.

I do want one though.

Thanks for all the replies. I am doing fine so it's no rush. I think for now I will wait to pick up the ego batteries and cones with a quick charger.

To each their own. I do not use the cone, because of a smoother draw. and warmth has never been an issue.

This charger works well for $4, it's cheaper then the adapter(more like an extension from what I can tell) and you get an extra charger.

Why not? I got mine from Dietsmokes, and the only issue I got was the UPS guy didn't know how to read my house number. Parked took care of that real quick, and called me 5 minutes after I emailed him.

NB had some issues with the carts supplied. I got my tornado from TW and everything's great with it. The regular charger takes awhile with the batteries though. Ego has the fast charger, but a slow charge might help with the battery life(number of charges)..
