The eGo can be charged via our SUPERFAST USB CHARGER (1.5-2 hours charging), or the inluded wall adapter.

This implies that you have to buy it separately, there is no mention of it in the kit?

No worries, it's in the kit. You get a superfast USB charger, but it also comes with a wall adapter so that you can plug that superfast USB charger into a wall outlet.

Ok im confused by this...i've just looked on Jantys european site (the uk site Ivapor sems to be permanently down) and the USA site and they both quote this:

no,ivapour isnt permanently down,Toby's just having a few server problems.should be back up again soon.you could always PM him to order.

with the Ego,the fast charger is included.with the Tornado it isnt,so that blows TW's extra atomiser advantage right out the window...plus you get 6 months warranty on atomisers and 3 on batteries compared to TW's 28 days.

you do the math...believe me,a long warranty is a huge plus where ecigs are concerned.

id always go with Janty...great service and unbeatable warranty.

the batteries are rated 650mAh, the eGo fast-charger delivers 450mAh

according to battery university and other places on small and medium sized batteries a charging current of 1C is ok for them. bigger batteries 0.8C - BU uses 18650 as an example for bigger ones.
Charging lithium-ion batteries

650mAh / 0.8h = 520mA

w00t w00t, eGo charger is still fine with its 450mAh output :)

* The C-rate is a unit by which charge and discharge currents are scaled. A charge current of 1000mAh, or 1C, will charge a 1000mAh battery in slightly more than one hour. A 1C discharge lasts one hour.
Charging nickel-based batteries - ignore the reference to nickel based batteries, the c-rate explanation applies to all battery chargings

[edit] just found also on BA that on 0.5C you can prolong the battery life. but hey the eGo charger already only charges at a 0.7C rate. so i personally think its ok.
