Greetings,

I want to step up my vaping experience and am in the market for a eGo passthrough, 1000 mah. I'm looking at Cignot, since they seem to have a diverse array of supplies at a reasonable cost. I'm currently using a 510 (Volcano Magma) as my PV, but get frustrated with the inconsistency sometimes. I crave a throat hit; if I don't get one then I'm not satisfied. I've heard that the eGo provides a superb TH. What's your guys opinions/experiences with this?

Also, I currently use regular-sized cartomizers, but want to buy some of the larger ones for use with the eGo. Suggestions?

Thanks!
Joe

I just have 650 MAH eGos but, as long as they're charged, I don't think there's a lick of difference between a 650 and 1000 when it comes to taste. I'm pretty sure MAH is a measure of life on a charge not power output.

As for the Boge LR cartos, either I'm a wimp or I just got used to drawing long and slow before I got them. They are too hot for my tastes. I know of at least one person that uses them with a drip tip. That may be the answer. You might like them though. A lot of people do.

That's right. No more voltage on the eGo passthrough. Unlike the KR8 which goes to 5 volts. Some 510 PTs do that too, but the oem joye doesn't.

If it's a USB wall adapter, it will work, any mini-usb connector will work for the passthrough.

I use the 1000mah PT's from CigNot, and they are very long, I was less than ready for it. I do like the 2 day battery life I get out of them, though.

I'd recommend them if you don't mind the extra length, it won't hide in your hand, that's for sure.

They won't give any better vape than a standard ego battery though, exactly the same voltage, afaik.

Can you use a wall adapter on the passthrough and vape while plugged into the wall? Or is it only a passthrough via USB?

Sure but, remember that at least on the eGo, you're charging a battery. You can vape off it while it's charging but, it's not going to deliver any more voltage or power than it would while acting as a battery. There are no kidding passthroughs that aren't batteries you need at least a 2 amp wall adapter for those and if you like your computer, don't plug one of those into it.

I love the eGo passthrough. it's a regular 650mah ego battery with a built in USB charger (which makes it a little longer). I use it plugged into my PC at work, and at home I have a spare blackberry phone charger with a miniusb end on a plenty long cord. It works great tethered and will run for many hours when you pull the plug and go wireless. I really haven't toughed my regular eGo batteries since I got the 'passthrough' There is a red LED embedded in the plastic at the USB end that lights up red when its charging and goes out when its fully charged.

EDIT: sorry, yes it can be used while charging.

USB Ego vape while you charge ego is 3.2 volts

I own 2 of them and they are good. Despite people saying you shouldnt use 1.5 OHM attys on egos I do all the time with zero issues i've had both USB ego's for around 4 months and I havent until recently used anything else. You can use Low Resistance atomizers even when it is plugged in they are awesome however recently I've been using

Leo PT enabled with Leo to 510 adapter. Leo with PT enabled stay at around 3.7 to 4.2 which is a huge difference on 1.5 OHM attys and cartos.

I suggest the Leo with Leo to 510 adapter
