Ok,
Here's what I'm thinking, since me and the wife are both quitting smoking and using vaping to take us there....

I can't afford or justify the cost of the eGO-C, which is what I wanted to do... but the checking account says No. HA.

So, as a newbie, please make sure i'm thinking and heading in the right direction, the slims are out of the question, need to battery life the eGo types gives.

I have researched myself to death... have went in circles with several different options and such. Now back to the basics. We want a system that is pretty stock and such.

1. Standard Joye eGo Kit (no -T or -C) (Can be had for between $40 to $50, Remember gotta buy two)
2. These should still allow is to, use tank Cartridges and Atomizers as it is, or test Drip new flavors, or go with any eGo Cartomizers (Boge) or Vision Clearomizers, if one of us prefer.

I'm I thinking right?

example:
This Kit Std Joye eGO
These Cartos (Boge SR) and these LR (Boge)
and/or these Clearomizers
several good juices, Tobacco, few Fruit, etc...

Wouldn't that be a good setup to give us all and best options for standard setups and Versatility, as starters to get away from the slim, no battery life type?

Like I said, I've researched myself to death... and need to come back to earth and go with the Basics.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Additions? Deletions?

Thanks,
later
sleepy

Check out the Kgo at sweet vapes. People seem gaga over them. I think ego is 3.4 volts and Kgo is 3.7. Also the Kgo is cheaper but I KNOW most here prefer it over the Ego.The cartos look like what you will want to get and I think the clearos as well. Also maybe try the stardust tank thingies as I hear a lot about them also. Hope this helps:)

$43.99

Kgo kit. Comes with two kgo 1100mah batteries. Two cones. 1 usb/wall charger. About 5 or 6 empty cartomizers. Also includes one drip tip.

Many people like to use with Boge 2 or 3 ohm cartos. Some like the stardust because they hold a good amount of liquid, you can see how much liquid is in it, and super easy to fill. Some like the ego mega clearomizers which I find holds about 3ml of liquid. All my friends using KGOs used one of these options. Just depends what you like. But the KGO is solid.

I have stuck with ego batteries and have a few small ones 510 connection joyetech stuff as they are so interchangeable and versatile- boges, stardusts, smoktech all work and I can test out new things easily. I am now lending people the little cigarette sized batteries so they can try vaping. When I got my first ego I nearly freaked as it was huge and I thought how silly I would look - now I have the bigger variable voltage ones and so love them. What people might think is now a good thing to promote vaping :) I have found the egos to be very reliable and last ages before charging so really worth investing in -would recommend the kit with the stardust clearomisers as a good starter- Healthcabin has them at a good price and you can then add a packet of boges as well

Definitely a KGO is a better deal. Good price at Sweet Vapes too. They also have better prices on the cartos you're looking at. I have four KGO batteries,, I like them that much. I will say one thing though,, you'll get two batteries in a kit, one for each of you. You'll want two extra batteries so you'll have back-ups. These things are not infallible and you'll be sorry if something happens to one and you don't have a back up. Not to mention, what will you use when they're charging? It takes almost 3 hours for them to chargle. Back ups are a MUST! They sell batteries too, for a decent price. I get the best vape on my KGO with the 1.7ohm single coil cartos, and a lot of people like the 2.0ohm cartos too. If you want the Vision Ego Clearos, get the SR ones, they work better than the LR ones on a KGO. I've never used their liquid, so can't comment on that. I use ECBlends and DeejStuff for most of my liquid, but there are tons of places to get that, and most places run sales. Start out with small bottles, so you don't end up with liquid you can't stand the taste of. I've been at this almost 6 months, gone through gallons of liquid and am just now figuring out what I like, so be prepared for a journey!! But you've found the right place,, tons of info here and lots of great people to help you along the way. Take a good look at that KGO,, you won't be sorry!

I have had nothing but an Ego from the get go, and ill tell you what im never upset with battery life. I always have a well charged back up and usually can go either a day to a day and a half on a single battery. I have the standard size battery not the 1000mhz or anything to the such. Egos are very versitile and can handle a tank or just a standard cartomizer, just remeber one thing. The standard ego battery CANNOT handle prolonged use of a DCT (dual coil tank) or any DC cartomizer. I used to just use an atty and cart and drip filled thoes bad boys, i was selling myself short not using a LR cartomizer in terms of flavor production. Also if you do want to branch into VVmods (varible voltage) eventually, eGo makes something called a twist which goes from 3.7-4.7 and the batterys are going from 25-30 a pop which isnt bad considering a very nice VV mod will cost 100+.

As for juices may i suggest Mountain Oak Vapors TOP QUALILTY, usa made eliquid. Great customer service and ledeadn and steve take alot of pride into their offerings. The sample packs are the way to go. If you look for my reviews for the dark temptaions and sweetwater line it may help you a ton.

I want to make a suggestion. If money is the issue, I would opt for getting 1 ego passthru for you and 1 for your wife. They would average around $20 each. The best part is, it’s still an ego battery, but you can use while it’s plugged in. They typically use a standard USB cable (which should be included anyway). The big benefit is, you don’t need an extra charger, which means you save $$ and since you can use it while it’s plugged in to any USB port while it’s charging, you could probably get away with 2 batteries instead of 4 which again, saves $$.

Elite Vaporworks KGO Starter Kit with Boge LR Cartomizers - KGO

This KGO kit comes with LR Boge cartos, 2 shorty cones and a 30ml bottle of liquid. Saves from having to grab some extra cartos right off of the bat..

That's a pretty good deal. The only dislike is that it looks like it doesn't include the "wall" part of the charger. The fact that it includes the boges are good as the kit from darkcityvapor has an unknown brand of cartos that aren't very good. And the 30ml of juice makes this a good value.
