Thanks for the video link. Another adjustment I'd like to make would involve spinning the plate so it lines up the same as the other Atty. So that the buttons line up the same. Is that possible or would it break something?
I haven't noticed that it matters much how the tank is inserted in terms of it lining up with the spike plate and so just turn the mouthpiece to wherever I want it. However, if you want line things up, the ever helpful Vicki has another
video that shows how to remove the spike plate as part of cleaning eGo-T attys. The only issue there is that sometimes the wick is glued to the coil by burned on gunk and therefore pull out of the spike when the plate is removed. That's not a disaster if the wick pulls out as a complete unit as it can be put back into the spike but can be a real problem if just some of the strands stay stuck to the coil as the wick is so tiny that it's pretty much impossible to bunch all of the wick strands back together with the little mesh "cap" (although I suppose some very determined and patient soul might be able to do so with better eyes than mine, perhaps with the aid of an illuminated magnifying stand).
Have you thought about upgrading to the eGo-C? Cignot has eGo-C starter kits for only $20 (
eGo-C type A kit and
eGo-C type B kit). One advantage there is that the atty is separate from the cone so with a little trial and error you can put it in so that it lines up with wherever you want the button to be. The attys are also a lot cheaper ($5) to replace than the eGo-T atomizer cone (~$13) on the eGo-T model.
