EGO-T Differences

Hey Guys - I'm looking to get the EGO-T, but it looks like there are 2 types.

There's the Ovale and then a bunch of vendors who carry another kind.

The all seem to be genuine Joye, and I only notice one difference.

The ovale battery can be locked by clicking 5 times, while all the others come with a cover for the button. There is also a $10 - $15 difference in price.

Does anyone know if there is any other difference? I'm looking to order later today.

I got my EgoT from Cignot and it did not come with a cover for the button, but it does have the lock feature. To my knowledge all EgoT batteries have this feature.

yes, the ego-t batteries do have the lock feature...i saw it on vapetv the other night. 5 clicks to lock/unlock...pretty nifty.

eGo-t batteries have the on-off function,totally wicked's tornado don't,don't know if the volcano inferno has it.
On-off,no big deal-always in my hand,so I would'nt turn it off anyway.

i have got hot pocket a few times with the older egos, lol, i was impressed when i saw they implemented a "switch"

Dang,I just got my brand-new eGo-T last week and I don't think mine has the 5-click. I did get the button cover. It came in the eGo box and the attys say "eGo-T" on them. The batteries don't have any markings.

I tried hitting the button 5 times and it doesn't do anything but make the light blink (5 times, LOL).

not exactly sure when it was implemented or who you got it from, i watched it on vapetv i think last Wednesday maybe? bruce from cov showed it off.

Some vendors went with that option, some didn't...

Ovaleusa has it...

I think TW and Volcano is coming out with them soon, also...

Just wondering if the ones without the switch are just regular ego batteries with ego-t attys and carts.

The next question would be, are the new batteries different in any other way (meaning other then the switch)?

Yes, they are just eGo batteries.

Difference is the battery capacity (mAH) and whether it is a usb passthrough or not..
