If it was burnt out it wouldn't work.Your atty is probably dirty and cleaning will possibly revive it. One day out of an atty is nothing.
As to your cartos question you don't need a syringe

Thanks for pointing out the typo. Guess I'm new to the vernacular. Not burned out, but meant I got the burnt taste after one day. I did do a 10 minute boil of the atty and went back to vaping. The taste returned, so I guess my hotboxing the eGo gunked and burnt the juice. I know that the quick boil method isn't the best, I gave it a quick try before I tossed it in the can. With the helpful cleaning tips, I'm going to have to grab a note pad and take some good notes.

Appreciate the feedback!

I'm on the road this week with my Ego-T and was having the same problem. Got VERY luck, and found an actual store (Vape Hut in Wilmington, NC). The owner was incredible - spent a lot of time with me, tried to burn the wick and clean everything out, and finally did manage to get it working again. She also showed me the Mega Atty & Cart - holy cow...MUCH better than I ever got with the Ego-T/Tank. They also had about 50 flavors to try in store - first time I've ever been able to do that...walked out with about 60 mL of various juice (if you go there...try the Cinnamon...oh la la!!). Anyway, try the Mega (I got the type 'B') - makes about 10x more vapor than I ever got from the tank.

just opened up my ego-t... very disappointed so far. but I'll have to continue giving it a try.

i got decent flavor (no throat hits though) for about 6 or 7 hits, and now it's tasting burned again (i waited 5 min for it to be wicked, and then wicked it with my juice itself).
The lack of th is one of the things I happen to really like about it. I can vape all day without my throat feeling all scratchy and irritated. I find that Th is mostly in the nic level and pg to vg ratios. May I ask what you are using?
Ok, a couple of simple things to try 1st. Turn the tank 180 degrees. Sometimes if short side of the spike lines up with the side of the tank with the bit of plastic left over from piecing it gets in the way a bit and can lead to not getting enough juice. the next is to fill your tank pretty full so when you put it back in you can hold it up you can see the level of the juice. Hold it tank up Give it a good, hard jiggle or two. You should see air bubbles coming through the juice toward the mouth piece. If you over vape or pull too hard when you vape, sometimes you can't get air into the tank fast enough to allow the liquid to flow out or an air bubble gets stuck along the wick interrupting the flow of juice. The jiggle allows air to get into the tank and / or out of the wick, restoring normal flow.
