...okayyy.... This has changed my mind a LOT!

for all you peeps who have a better system than the tank or are regretting the tank for whatever reason... Could any of you please suggest a better upgrade for me?

I'm using the Riva901 which I LOVE - I love LOTS of vapor and MASSIVE taste (strawberry in my case) - not too keen on major TH. I tried cartos and the needle business done my head in, although the vape was much smoother and tastier, just slightly less of it (I think they were CE2 XL 901 cartos or something like that)

I was sold on the tank idea until reading this and some other reviews, I am not sure it really is for me now. So what would be good for me as an upgrade/addition? Again I'm looking for Major Vape and Major Flavour. I like filling the room with vape and deep deep lungfuls.

Thanks guys!

I've gone back to my ce2's, the tank just doesn't work for me. Yesterday mine would not vap very good, so I gave it a water rinse and blow out. Worked even worse, so I looked at the wick and found it was way down in the punch tube. Tried to raise it, but could not. I was so ticked off at it that I decided to open it with my dremel. found the problem - the wick was all burnt up right below the punch tube - black and in two pieces! They really need to make things so they can be cleaned and put back togethe
I like the idea of the tank, just needs a lot of work before I buy another.

looking at the GG user manual I don't think it will be too long before you can open and replace anythin in the tank, they just need to catch up and fast before they lose their 'hype' custom!

Wow....only have had my t for a little over a week now, but havent had any problems at all with it. Knock on wood I guess.
Love the tanks for being so easy to refill...I just pop em off the atty fill with a needle attachment I rigged up for the juice bottle, pop back on and vape away...
I did order a Gogo, I think it's here today...gonna wait and let the wifey open it up when she gets home...

I'm less than pleased with my egoT and InfernoT. I've been vaping a month, now. I feel like this new system that I purchased as a substitute for analogs has helped alot in steering me away from an earlier death, but at the sacrifice of what one would call a pleasant vaping experience. Muted flavors, burnt tastes, dry hits, wicks too high, wicks too low, hard to drag, cap popped off the tank and drained into the atty cone, anything else that could go wrong...

I have some CE2 XL 2.4-2.7ohm cartos on the way. I'll be building the $3 tank mod, and God, I hope things get better with this purchase! I'm tired of effin with it to try to get it to operate as it should. It just doesn't do as good a job as it should or it's infrequent when it does.

I am using an eGo with The Dripper from Not cigs. it is not really pretty but it does a good job and I am really enjoying it. It will hold me over until the VVPV is done.

These tanks work great! You have to understand how to use them, and I will tell you how. First of all, they only work on Tuesdays from 4:13 to 4:16pm. Also, they only work with a 57.8275108pg / 42.1724892vg mix. And your draw has to maintain a consistent -.003756psi in the atty, because -.003755 will result in dry burning hits, and -.003757 will be a major flood. Oh yeah, and don't forget to adjust your wick every 30 seconds and maintain a battery voltage of 3.592647926107 volts!!!

OMG I like them and I am still laughing hysterically...... now hold on I have to adjust my wick and charge my Batt for 10 seconds and then use the Voltage meter that doesn't like my eGo Batt.

I LOVE the T when it works. The main thing is that the draw is so easy. The first PV I've used that draws like an analog.

BUT, mine leak like crazy. Mostly onto the battery, but sometimes into the mouth. Storing them level, instead of putting them in my shirt pocket, helps a lot, but still doesn't solve the problem. Today one leaked about 3/4 ml in 30 minutes. Juice everywhere.
Thank goodness I just bought 500 ml of DIY juice !

Yes, the eGo-T needs a lot of improvement. But I'm sticking with it for now.

I was tempted to not post in this thread, as I've really had no serious issues with my eGo-T, and the OP is asking for others who have issues.

Have I had to fiddle with it? Sure. Do I find that fiddling onerous? No. I wish someone would point me in the direction of the PV that doesn't require maintenance. Don't tell me, "Oh, cartos are the way to go!", or, "Bottom feeders FTW!", or "(Insert PV type/brand/mod here) are so easy to use!"

They all require some upkeep. They all wear out. At some point, they're all going to have "an issue". Such is life.

NONE of it is going to be as "easy" as stripping the cellophane off a pack of butts, and applying flame to the end of one. THAT was a fool-proof system. How often did you have a cigarette that had "an issue"? I think once every 3 cartons or so, I'd have one where a stiff piece of tobacco that had punctured the paper, and I'd have to hold my finger over that spot so I didn't get any of that nasty fresh air in my smoke. Other than that, there wasn't much that could go wrong.

We're dealing with a relatively complex device here. There is no way to tell someone, "Don't suck so hard", or, "Don't hit it so often", or "(Insert advice here)", because there isn't any way to tell who is doing what.

Everyone smoked cigarettes differently. I knew a girl who smoked about 2.5 packs/day, but she barely inhaled. Short, sharp puffs, and I know she did inhale, because she frenched it. I knew a guy who smoked about .5-.75 packs/day, and he could smoke a Marlboro Red in about 3 drags. That was the way he smoked. There wasn't any sidestream secondhand smoke from this guy, it all got filtered through his lungs. Was the way either of them did it "wrong"? Not according to results. I was kind of a casual smoker. I could really suck it down if I was having a bad day, or was stuck outside in the wind at -10 F, or was just having a nic fit. But normally I just took a drag every 15-30 seconds. Either way, I got the expected results.

With a PV, the "correct" method is in a much narrower range, I believe. And I think the "correct" method is even narrower with the -T equipment. So it doesn't fit some folks. It does fit the way I vape, most of the time. Sure, sometimes I'll hit it repeatedly, and get a dry hit. Whose fault is it? Mine, at least that's the way I see it. I went to the well too often. I set it aside, pick up the other one, and vape away.

As far as the leakage issues, I can't say. I've never had an issue, except once when I let a tank get real empty, and I had it sitting around while I was using my other one. At least I think that's what happened. It got a couple of drops in the battery connector. Whoop. Again, this isn't something that doesn't ever happen with other PVs.

So, did the eGo-T makers get it "wrong"? Not from where I'm sitting. YMMV.

Anyone who wants to sell their T atomizers, shoot me a PM, we'll talk.

I love my Ego-t. - I have 2 that I have been using for a month, and yes you need to clean them once in awhile like everything else. They are both still working great, and I vape about 4 to 5 mls a day. So I bought 2 more and got them yesterday just for backups because I do like them.

I'm quite satisfied with my ego T. The first week I had it, I was very disappointed, no flavor, harsh throat hit. But I did more reading of others experiences and figured maybe I had a bad atty. So I switched to the 2nd one and voila! I'll grant you the flavor isn't "quite" that of some other rigs, but its only slightly muted, its still there, and the convenience of only refilling 2 or 3 times a day is great! I can grab the tank on the way out the door and know that I'm good for hours away from all my bottles, wadding, carts, atomizers, etc. Sometimes, when I'm at home, I use the standard ego setup (510 atomizer and a cart) or my screwdriver™ set up for a 510 and cart. But I think they have a winner here in my book.

It's a brand new concept. Are there some QC issues? Of course. Could it be improved? Certainly. But *my* impression is that its a very good step in the right direction. 5 or 10 years from now, tanks will be commonplace and rock solid, in the meantime, this is a nice relief from the constant fiddling I have with carts/catos/dripping, etc.

And, btw, I've had no leaks whatsoever. Small amount of condensation when I pull the tank to refill and that's it.

So I guess what I'm saying is, the concept is solid. If its not working as it should, fiddle with it yourself, or have your vendor replace it. If I bought a car that was troublesome, I'd work it out with the dealer and get it working right.

This is just my own personal experience, and I'm truly sorry not everyone has been so lucky. And I'm glad that we can all straight talk these things and figure ways to make them work better. I just think we need to take into perspective the newness of the device and set our expectations accordingly.

nice posts & great points ... ancient puffer & tenzip .....totally agree with both of you....

I gotta quit lookin' in these ego-t threads tho...I'm so sad to hear of folks throwing these little jewels away :( ....

I miss mine... had it 31 days ...broke the coil while cleaning ... & mine was a leaker BUT I learned A LOT about how these things worked & I got to where I could take it apart/clean coil/change wick/prime & reassemble faster then the process I go thru with the CE2's I am using @ moment. & I did all this a lot less often .

... but so back to ego-t's they are totally fixable as long as the atty is still firing ...

so I'm still in the "great NEW product" with hopes of more fine tuning soon, which will only make them better boat !!
