Maybe by then the makers of the go-go will have the charging problems figured out by then so that the end-user won't have to get out their tools to make it work properly straight out of the box. Seems like a manufacturing flaw that should have been resolved in the first few batches made. Ah well. I have time to wait :)

Granted I am new and have a GoGo but I do not of or have not seen charging problems. The only thing I had to do was pull a small piece of metal filing off one of the batteries and I was Good to GoGo ;)

I hereby give notice of termination of go-go nation membership.
I don't care what the herd says......after a month or so of use.......it really ain't all that good and the quality is third world at best.

Yes, yes, I know, blasphemer. I'll go to heII for saying that. But it's the truth.

It's like we all bought Fords when we deserve BMWs. And everyone is okay with that?
I'm off to join the GLV church across the street.

Smell ya' later.

Just going to jump in with another question... :) How hard is it to get used to a manual? I have only used V4L automatic batteries.

If you want an automatic get the new Echo 1300 that uses the same type carto as the Go-Go. I have two Go-Gos and recently got the Echo and it is an awesome battery with a great carto. You can get either a 650 or 1300 kit for 49.95 at Echo Series | Cropduster901.com:2cool:

No need to cut it down. Just remove the stuffing, push the inner tube to one side and drip away.

I was thinking about the Echo also... but I saw how you can cut down a go-cart and make a dripper outta it for testing juices... I would be afraid to do that with an automatic battery. That is my reasoning behind it anyway... :) Maybe I will win a lottery and get both!! :)

So i've been bouncing around here lately. 3 months ago I was using the CE2's, fluxomizers as well and had very mixed results, not happy overall. I switched to the turbine, great idea, poor QA. Now I read through this entire thread and ordered the Go-Go setup.

After 1 full day of use I have some observations:

A: The turbine has produces a much richer flavor and slightly more TH than the Go-Go's but it's still fine with the Go-Go.
B: The turbine leaks, dies after a week in some cases
C: The Go-Go has pretty even flavor, was easy enough to fill (i followed the advice, sort of, and it dripped a couple of times but so far so good)
D: i've topped off the go-go once since yesterday, about 20 drops and thats it.
E: the turbine tends to require being used in one position only or else it will leak or produce a hard draw.
F: The Go-Go suffers from no such condition. Aim it at the sky, the floor, wherever.

Since the Go-Go doesn't leak I am using MUCH less juice than before which is a win/win. If these last a couple of weeks per atty I consider that entirely acceptable but the big thing is storage. I don't need to worry, at least so far, about leaking. I do notice the taste is slightly tainted by the wick (what material is it?) but thats not objectionable. I did have the immediate charging problem but a nice flat file and a shot of compressed air took care of that immediately plus a 1300 mah battery makes it last a long time.

For now I will keep both and continue comparing, maybe use the turbine around the house and take the Go-Go with me wherever I Go-Go..haha. I think i am simply getting more for my $$ with this than the turbine.

I can't argue with this logic since I've never tried a GLV....
BTW: what 'is' a GLV?

GotVapes™ TURBINE! : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

Leaking was something I wanted to avoid entirely which is why I chose the Go-go as my first PV. I can pretty much tell when the juice is pooling when I fill or top off a carto, but don't mind loosing a drop or two to get the tell-tale sign that it's full. Make sure you don't drop any down the center tube because that can give you a false reading. I usually fill a few at a time, so I fill halfway then let them sit a few minutes to absorb, then fill more. I also like to let the cartos rest a while after filling to fully absorb so I usually do it last thing at night and then let them sit flat overnight.

The Go-go doesn't necessarily give you the BEST flavor, vapor or TH, what it does give you is GOOD in all departments, long-lasting and pretty much hassle-free.

I tried the Turbine and the Giantomizer with the same results. The Turbine did have good flavor when it worked but that was for only a few hours. It now sets in my junk bin along with my Giantomizers. They were much more expensive too, ten dollars a piece. The Go-Go is simply a reliable PV that hits the same day after day but I have found a new love with the Echo 1300 automatic battery with a 3.5 ml carto with the same design as the Go-Go except it is a cone carto. They vape pretty much the same maybe a little better flavor with the Echo but the automatic battery is what sets them apart for me anyways. I will always love my Go-Go and she truly was my first love! lol Hopefully my citizenship will not be taken from me. lol
