I have had an Ego T for a month now and I keep having one thing happen that's driving me crazy: The little area in the mouthpiece tip of the tank will suddenly fill up with liquid and then, of course, some gets into my mouth!
I don't mind it getting on my tongue so much as wasting all that wonderful juice, plus the fact that it just seems to draw hard. (I chain vape in the evenings).

So, what's up? Am I drawing too hard? Too often? Too much altogether? Do I need to go for a mega?
Help!!

Have you ever taken off the removable piece at the tip of the mouthpiece? I'm wondering if the inside piece is missing.. The tanks come in four pieces: the body, the end cap, the tip of the mouthpiece and there's a tiny piece inside the tip of the mouthpiece too - it seems to me that if that last piece was gone that the tip would fill up with liquid.

Just a guess....

I got fed up today. Under filled the tanks, tried drawing less vigorously, etc. Everything I could think of.
I got out a leftover used up cartridge that originally came with my Ego, and dripped into that. Heavenly! Except for one thing: there's a bit of the original tobacco flavor still in there, so my Irish Cream isn't tasting quite as sweet as it was in the tank. That's ok for now. The lack of leaking, the immense amount of vapor as compared to the tank and the ease of use is just so much better!

I like the flavor from the tank better, and obviously the fact that they just last so much longer, but at home, I'm good with this method for now.

If they ever come up with a better tank, I'm all over it!

That was happening to me as well, I found I was pulling to hard on it when I draw.

first... clean them up, take off the end cap, use a paper clip and pull out the mouthpiece end piece through the hole, inside you will find another... pull that one out too.

Get a cup of really really hot water and drop them all in there... get them cleaned up real well, blow them dry, and put the tank back together. ( it is up to you... but I leave out that inner spacer and only put back the end mouthpiece part on the tip.

When you fill it, dont overfill, I fill mine about 4/5ths of the way

Now draw more lightly... and much longer... to get your vape on, a hard draw is what is flooding it.

Once I did this, I no longer get the fluid in the mouthpiece, and my eGo-T no longer leaks, I was simply drawing too hard and flooding it ( as I suspect you are also )

Best of luck to you

you might try these:
BreezEsmokes - Premium Electronic Cigarettes

They work with your standard 510 atomizer and seem like a good idea. Plus they are cheap, so not too much commitment if you end up not liking them. Seems like they'd work well, and anythings better than the standard cartridge IMO.

Two of those little inner pieces are now stuck in my drain trap. oops. They got away from me while I was washing them out. The missing inner pieces have not affected by tank cartridges at all. I think I agree that it functions better without them.
No leaks. No drips.

Are you holding your PV horizontal or vertical when you vape on it?

If you are holding it horizontal, you would be tipping it so the juice would flow into your mouth. Trying to think of something that might be causing this to happen.

All of these are great possibilities but you may also look at the pg/vg proportions. I have found that pure and/or high pg levels (very "wet") tend to leak a lot more; a mixture with a bit more vg (but not so much to require a hard draw or difficult wicking) helped me a lot. Best of luck.
