Hi. I am a long time user of e-cigs and recently upgraded from the joye 510 to the ego-tank. I purchased two new ego-T atomizers and I have been using them for a few days. I have been getting a very dry taste/vap with these atomizers. Has anyone else experienced this? Every now and then I do get flavored, smooth hits, but for the most part, they have been dry and taste a little burned. Anyone have any suggestions that might work?

Check out this video. It may help. YouTube - Review: eGo-T eCig from Ovale

It's a rather long video. Advance it to 11:30 for the possible solution to your problem.

Awesome video...thank you for sharing the link! So far, I've been rotating 2 eGo T atty's....occasionally get that dry taste, but have learned to do a couple of primer puffs first, without engaging battery...seems to do the trick! But if this continues, I'll know exactly what I need to do cause I absolutely LOVE the new eGo T system!!!!

this is a post i did on another thread and so i copied and pasted it to here tryin to get some more feedback:

ive really been having issues with my tank setup lately and im realy trying to find out if others are having this, or maybe noticing it somewhat,.. but its like first of all, nomatter what juice i put in the tank, they all seem to end up tasting the same, i geuss bcuz of all the plastic casing, idk, but its like all my different liquids just kinda morph into the same thing: a real neutral, plain, blank-plastic type of flavor with diminished T/H. then when i get fed up, i put back on my standard attys and drip and everythings back to normal. i mean if i wanted to, i could take the liquid back out of the tank and it would taste normal again if i dripped it. thats why i know its not bcuz of my juices or anything like that. does that make sense? and one other thing too, will somebody please share your method of pulling on it, like are yall taking primer puffs? seems like im halfway to my cutoff time b4 im getting it to flow. also, my punctures are complete all around. in one case i even took a thumbtack and fine tuned it to make sure its not the hole causing this. im noticing some times itll pull a decently satisfying hit, but not often enough. and one more thing is that bcuz of this ive gotten to where ill practically refuse to change tanks/flavors and rotate bcuz if i just leave one flavor running thru it long enought itll finally start to develop a little and not have as much of a neutral tone. so is this sounding familiar to anybody

im gonna try cleaning it cuz its about time for one anyway but i think its pretty much worked like this since i first got it about a week ago. at first i was impressed but thats bcuz i kept tellin myself it just hasnt broken in yet. im also gonna open my other atty (i originally bought 2 & a 5pack of tanks) and just try it in the meantime, and then do the wick mod on my first atty after cleaning it. any other ideas/thoughts?

I have had mine few days, and it has been nothing but a champ, excelent taste, excelent vapor, no leaks, no dry hits, no funky tastes.

I give primer pulls after blowing out an atty for a new flavor swap.

Sometimes without thinking about it I inhale slightly before I hit the button, maybe that helps?

Loving mine, its a Tornado Tank from TW btw.

One thing I should warn folks about here is I decided to clean my atty when I started noticing a decrease in flavor. I cleaned it the same way I always clean atties...letting it soak in iso alcohol for a while. When I came back to check on it the black skin on the atty came off completely, making my black atty silver. I found that rather strange. It's just a cosmetic issue...the flavor of the vape is back to new now. The only problem is I've been getting black atties for myself and silver ones for my hubby so we can tell them apart. Now mine looks just like his.

How odd is that...I soak in iso alcohol too...10 to 15 minutes...and black skin is always completely intact! I've also read on several posts the black coming off...I'm wondering if it's whatever coating the retailer is using to have their logo imprinted on the atty! Mine came from cignot!
