Hi all--Wondering if you'll had some advice as far as a "refillable" atomizer/cartomizer? Using the tank now, but don't seem to get as much flavor as when I refill G-Smokes cartos with same e-juice. Sure this should be an easy one for most of you--recommendations as to same type of atomizer (with the "cotton-like" stuff) that I can drip juice into, put a cap on?, and then screw into my Ego T batteries. Realize it won't last as long as tank, but if I can get more flavor, that would be ok. Thanks in advance!

510 threaded cartomizers work fine, I've been playing around with all my new toys and you're right the cartomizer has really good flavor, they also have tanks for the cartomizers so you can not have to constantly reload. I got the ego c tank system, vivi nova, t3, vision 1.6mil, and a bauhaus ce5. The best flavor from these seems to be the top burn ones, with the long wicks, like the vivi nova, vision and bauhaus one. The others are ok, but I sure notice a difference in flavor between them. I like the flavor of the cartomizers, but not so much that I want to mess around having to refill them all the time, so I don't think they're for me, but that just my opinion.

Hey, Thanks! Just now figured out what people were talking about (tanks with a cartomizer) when I looked at the vision--had a pic so I saw the "wick", and figured out what the heck it was. Looks like might be a viable option between the two.

Tanks don't deliver for me either. I've tried three different sizes with different atomizers, and I still keep putting them away and going back to my 510 cartomizers. I finally decided, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

srcowell--wonder if you might enlighten me a bit? I have two 900mah Ego-T batteries, looked at the 510 Carto's you mentioned, but am at a loss when it comes to what "Ohm" I would need/want/can't use. Thanks!!

There are basically two distict types of juice delivery devices: string wicked devices such as clearomizers and clearotanks (vivi nova) and cartotanks.

I've never been a fan of the string-wicked delivery devices. I have found that they are inconsistant in performance and mute many of our e-liquid flavors. You also have to tip them on their side frequently to keep the wicks wet to avoid dry hits.

My preference is to use cartotanks. They are more consistant in performance once you get the methodology of them figured out, and provide more flavor. They perform the same no matter what position they are used. The surface area of the polyfill is ten times larger than the surface area of a clearo delivery device bringing the juice to the heating coil, so logic dictates they will provide more flavor.

I've written several blog articles on the more common juice delivery devices that show pictures and videos on how to fill them here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

and how to set up a cartotank here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

and made a comprehensive review of a popular pyrex cartotank manufacturer here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3318-3-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks-review.html

made a list of online vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers for cartotanks with an article on how to choose the correct ohm carto for the voltage range you use here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...nched-single-coil-cartomizers-cartotanks.html
