The Ego has an EGO Connection. It's a 510 connection with Ego Cone Threads. It is different than a regular 510 in that some items, like the Stardust, screw into the Ego Cone threads and not the 510 connection part itself. So the answer is, an ego has an ego connection, but fits 510s. The reason you must understand this difference is because if you need an adapter and you get a 510 adapter you will find it is quite different from an EGO adapter.
900 mah Ego Twists are available at VaporBeast.com for 19 dollars a piece. It's the best deal on the market.

Also, the Vivi Nova Mini is a good clearomizer, but the E1-V blows it out of the water. You can get that at DiscountVapers.
It has better flavor, looks better, holds more juice, and unlike the Vivi Nova Mini which screws into the 510 part of your ego connection and leaves the cone threads exposed (requiring you to spend more money on a collar/sleeve to cover them) the E1-V comes with that collar already attached to cover those threads up and streamline your unit. All at the same price as a VN Mini. I know a lot of people like to parrot each other on ECF, so why not start parroting the superior product? It's the E1-V hands down.
E1 / E2 / E3 (Apollo and Revive)
It's the 2nd and 3rd ones on this list (from left to right), costs $6, and comes in LR and SR varieties. The replacement columns are found lower on the same page or there is a shortcut link at the top. They are $2.29 a piece, but the E1-V can be rebuilt just as easily as a VN Mini. I recommend you learn how to do that and use cotton or bamboo yarn since it's safer than silica and works better and you won't have a need for the replacement columns. Details on how to do that are found in my blog, The Vaper's Handbook. The link to my blog can be found below in my signature.
