Not sure why that happens; I first tried pulling my centre pin with a screwdriver as well, and when it made contact with both the pin and the outer portion is when I saw my light flash. I can only assume it's the short circuit protection kicking in.

You've changed. Agree on the protection. you look awful; somebody get Mister Mike a sandwich and a coffee

just to play devils advocate i guess.....on the twist have you tried cleaning the rings? with some tissues and maybe a tooth pick or non "harsh" end, have you tried to clean the charger rings and head? Also from gobs of reading the charger can go poop on you too....

to play further advocate and to make me less of a vapor (LOL) i am getting out of mods as i am having more of a kick and enjoyment with my ego's and low resistance things.....not to mention the vivi nova mini, ego pass through vv and skull drip tip i won from ljs e-smokes :D then again my old 78mm auto bloogs in purple (what was i thinking getting that color?) rock a kanger with major throat hit and vapor with a 808 to 510 adapter (who knew?)

yes i am a odd one who loves to explore unique things :p

thanks Projectguy... there's a lot of excitement about these, and I might be interested down the road in upgrading to something a little more "hemi"...

Something a little more "tiggggger" like would be the Provari mini. Still just as lethal only its fits in the hand of the fairer sex.... Then again when I look at the gun maybe you might want to consider a "BAM"....

I had the same experience not that long ago.... battery blinked indicating it needs a recharge, tried to recharge it but the light on the recharger wouldn't change. For me, it was the center pin needed to be pulled up slightly. I use a ego twist 900mah, and usually a mini vivi nova.

I have to pull the pin up slightly every time I recharge now, on two different twists. It is a small nuisance but the two twists are working fine other than that. Others have told me I likely screwed the mini nova on too tightly at some point and pushed the pin down.

I really didn't think I was that rough when screwing them, but maybe I got carried away... I will have to be more of a gentleman from now on! :p:)

My twist did the same thing 2 weeks after getting it, didnt drop it or abuse it, its like a 2nd wife to me :) Trust me the 1st complains about it almost as much as she did the analogs LOL.. None the less I simply returned it and got a standard version T.... Honestly I use only LR atomizers and I couldn't tell much a difference from the low to high voltage.. But that's just me.. I

Trust me, if you're seriously committed to vaping and are off the cigs for good, eventually you'll want something bigger and better than the egos. The Provari is the cream of the crop. I honestly can't say one bad thing about it. Full size or mini, they're both awesome (bigger batteries in the full sized, I even use the 18650 extension cap for the biggest batts-lasts me a whole day)

/completely biased vaping advice.

There's a mini? oooooooooo..... I'm still doing well with my eGos after a month, but I can already see how I could appreciate something a little more serious. But for me budget is a real restricting factor, so the initial output for the Provari is a little daunting. I also admit that I really like how small, sleek and discreet the eGos are.... the Provari is an appliance ;) (at least what I've seen)

Two Twists, one mine (dropped) and another a friend's (don't know) stopped working. With my friend I fixed it by giving it a tap on my hand. So that's how she deals with it, just like hitting the ole TV to get it to work.

Mine on the other hand is probably disconnected. Thanks for the info on fixing, although i doubt I'd be able to do that.

Don't sell yourself short, Oriana.... I just finished successfully resoldering the connections on my eGo 1000mA and it works! (I think I'm still a little giddy about it). Like one person said earlier in this thread... it's already broken, so it's not like it's not worth a try.... worst case, it stays broken. Best case? You have a working battery again...

The provari mini is pretty small but packs a punch. Lavatube,1000mah twist,650mah twist and provari mini :vapor:

I'm sorry to have to correct you but the eGo has not died.
It has entered an enhanced, extended negative function mode in response to a high G decelerative manoeuvre imposed by high mass aggregate surface contact.

This mode is more commonly known as:

D eceleration
E nhanced
A utomated
D ormancy

After which comes:

S udden
M aterial
A cceleration (follow by)
S udden
H alt.
