ego twist issues

So I just got my new ego twists in the mail (2 1000 mah batteries)...first, doesn't work with my phoenix 2.4-2.6 ohm tanks...but does work with my visions(2.6-2.8 ohms)...don't know what that's about as I don't know what purpose the ohms serve...also, when the twists are on the charger, the light shows red then blinks really fast green for a split second before going back to red...weird! Anybody have any input on why the phoenix's won't work? Maybe I just need to order the 2.6-2.8 ohm versions?:( I gonna try connecting the twists via my usb port instead of the wall adapter to try and alleviate the blinking problem as this has never happened with my regular ego batteries. Thanks in advance, Spencer

When an atty or carto works on one batt and not on another, it is almost always about the connection of the atty (but in some cases the battery) where the center post is depressed (usually) or askew (not so much). Pick it with a dental pick to raise - carefully and keep it centered from the surrounding ring (the opposite pole/electrode).

I believe the charging behavior is normal. At least, that's the same pattern as mine, and it's worked for me for about 7 weeks so far. It'll turn green completely when it is totally charged.

+1 I believe joytech designed it that way so it informs you that the battery is indeed connected (red) and Is indeed charging (green blink)

Behind you
I've had two problems:

- A very slight leak through the threads of the attie base. I was thinking covering the first few threads w/ thread tape would do the trick of improving the seal. Thoughts? I'd have to clean it off and re-apply every so often but it's better than leaks.

- Feeding thicker juices. Dry draws to prime the atty then regular draw usually does the trick but not always. And once that Ego atty dry burns it's useless no matter how wet after.

Witty, I was watching a youtube vid on the phoenix, and it said something about the center post on it being a give spot so that it would not damage the battery, not sure if you can adjust your model of it it is different (sorry im kind of new, hence watching a 40 min phoenix vid).

My twist does the same thing when charging, also my blu does the same thing, I think there is a cut off circuit in there when the bat is fully charged, and some times the charger is tricked into thinking you are at full charge.

mr6614, I leave my twist on charger over night and they are never warm in the morning, I also frequently forget to unplug my charger from usb, and the light is green when it is not under load. I don't know for sure, but I am comfortable leaving my batteries plugged in for long periods. The same was also true with my blu.

One last thing, I cleaned out my vivi tanks last nigh (v3 models) and dry burned the atty after cleaning them. They all work fine and taste better than the one I rinsed out and refilled right away. They also produced much more vapor than the one that was wet when I filled it.
