Hi All,

My kit just arrived.

I have some very basic questions about setting it up.

I'm very new to all of this .

I've gone through the contents identifying the various components

Basically, as well as the 2 batteries I have the following:

a vivi nova tank
a bcc megaclear cartomizer
a Kanger MT3 Bottom Coil CC clearomizer
a Kanger T2 clearomiser
an eGo Stardust V3 Clearomizer

I am busy charging the battery and was wondering which of the above delivery systems would be the easiest to set up and are there any very basic instructions anywhere as to how to do this i.e. where and how to add the liquid

Also do I need to buy a dropper or syringe in order to do this?

Thanks

no droppers/syringe needed for the t2/t3/viv tanks (never had a megaclear or a stardust so i can't comment on those)

T2: unscrew the top,tip it to the side a little and fill er up
T3: unscrew the bottom, flip er upside, tip it to the side down and fill er up

same with the nova.

Batteries should be pre-charged from factory so you should be good to go there as well.

Hope this helps a little (lots of vids on youtube that will help as well)

Well ktel - I can only speak for the vivi nova tank as I don't have any experience with the others. With the vivi nova just unscrew the upper metal piece with the drip tip, pour your juice down the inside part of the plastic tank. Avoid pouring it on the center piece (the head). If you search this on you-tube you will find many good videos on this. The biggest pain in this is waiting for the batteries to charge.

the stardust works the same as the t2 and vivi nova. it just holds less juice.

just remember to turn them sideways/upside-down every so often so the wick stays wet while vaping. dry hits suck.

with the mt3 you do not need to do this because it is bottom coil/wick. this would be my preferred clearo.

I used the Kanger MT3 .

I am now in the process of testing out the juices to see what I like

I ordered the RY4 ,Du Maurier and Benson and Hedges Menthol in various strengths.

Instead of the B and H Menthol I was sent Muskoka Blend Menthol

I tried that first and do not like it at all.

I'll try the others next to see if I prefer them

Regarding cleaning the clearos/cartos, any recommended method or just rinse them with water?

Also , I know that tastes differ but for anyone who orders from Canvapes what are your preferred flavours?

I know there'll be some trial and error involved but would like to narrow it down .

One other recommendation for your kit - some Q-tips and some good old-fashioned pipe cleaners (absurdly cheap form any tobacco shop) for quickly cleaning out juice build-up in drip tips. I find the pipe cleaners handy for the weekly clean-up of kit, too.

If nothing else, the pipe cleaners are great for making models of dogs, mooses etc. and thus avoiding doing any work.

I rinsed out the clearo with hot water and used a q tip which got rid of most of the juice.

I just tried the RY4 and it is much better than the Muskoka blend which I frankly found disgusting

Anyway , I need to order more flavours to compare and would welcome recommendations from the canvapes options

Regarding the power button on the twist, I was reading somewhere that you're supposed to click on this 5 times, is this necessary?

I ask because when I'm using it I just hold down the power button and it appears to work ok and goes off as soon as I take my hand away.

I tried a couple of CanVapes juices and didn't like them at all . CanVapes has awesome hardware though & ultra fast shipping .
I've tried juices from Maple Leaf . FlavourCrafters and Jugheads , all higher end juices as far as i'm concerned .
My all day Vape is Vanilla Cake from MLV , i don't like any tabacco flavours from anywhere .

don't forget, some juices will need to 'steep'. especially tobacco ones i've found, so if they taste nasty, give them a week and try again and see if the flavor has changed....i had vanilla tobacco from eastcoastvapes that I dry heaved a little first time I tried, and tried a few days later because it smelled differently, and I don't mind it at all. Same with some of the tobacco I just ordered from gentlemans reserve, it tastes kinda flowery, and i just finished some that had none of that flavor, so am gonna give it a little steep time.

I hope that everything is okay ktel, you will find all kind of answers here. Regarding e-juice from my other post, you can try other ones that is at CanVape or try another vendor if you want. Everyone taste bud is different and you just have to figure out what you like and it may take some time. A RY4 from one vendor can be different from another vendor unless they get their sources at the same place.

Here is instruction for refill:

How to refill ejuice?
* Unscrew the round mouthpiece from the clearomizer
* Fill 1.4ml-1.6ml of ejuice from the side
* Do NOT pour the ejuice into the narrow metal tube in the middle. The narrow metal tube is only for airflow.
* Screw the drop tip back in.
* Please wait 1-2 minutes for the ejuice to feed into the coil before you start to vape.

After refilling I always blow through my mouthpiece into a kleenex just to make sure there is no liquid in there. If there is it will hamper vapor production and leave you less satisfied. Fill it to just under the silicone cap, blow it out, and then vape hard.

Edit, if there is liquid where it shouldn't be you may end up with it in your mouth and that is never pleasant.
