This is making me really go insane. I had so much bad luck so far only for my new device not to work. I'm about to give up on vaping!
My Protank shouldn't be the issue, I tried both heads. I also can get the battery to work every now and then, but most of the time it just shuts off. Works fine with nothing attached. Charger seems to be on, at least.
The Spinner; it's broken upon arrival.
My protank ii has features that make me think it's really a clone. like how the heads will not come apart no matter how much force i put, nor will the pieces of the tank (other than the bottom plate and mouthpiece). it leaked like crazy too.
So the owner of DV talked me and said many of the Spinners have been faulty. I would not order them from DV right now if I were you until the store can take responsibility and test them out before shipping or put up a disclaimer. With Fasttech having participated in false advertising by continuing to sell things they knew would take more than a month to ship (and not putting up warnings on the date I ordered), I will be filing a lawsuit against any company in the future who sells me a faulty product they knew were faulty. Faulty devices has wasted me over $200 so far, especially with the price of cigarettes. I have no vaping device for MONTHS because each product comes in faulty. VERY unprofessional conduct from DV for purposely sending me a faulty product to chance making money on my stupidity, but at least they are sending me a pre-paid shipment pack and a new Spinner along with it. It'll be thursday before it arrives though, so two weeks of waiting on a working device is ridiculous for an American company semi-near my home. I have a right mind to do something about this as of now, but for now, I'll be patient.
Also, I'd recommend that you have at least 2 batteries. Then you can have one charging while you vape with the other. I'd go nuts with just one.
There's absolutely no juice on my battery - it shortens out even on Blu cartos and they don't leak a bit. The tank started to gurgle and leak pretty bad but only in the lower head, it never seemed to get to the battery. I'm just not sure what in the world is going on - it's going to take me so much money just to ship it back!
@ Racehorse, by center pin do you mean the coil wire inside the head's bottom tip or the whole head's column chamber itself? The column is touching ( you have to screw the head on the bottom plate THEN screw the plate on the protank for the head's column to be level with the plate's column) but the wire is not long enough to exactly touch the battery, and it's not touching the sides of the head's column. I mean, my head is producing quite a bit of vapor, just no flavor.
Spinners and Twists have sealed batteries. Juice leaking into atty connector shouldn't short it out.
If your protank doesn't work on top, make sure you do not have your spinner voltage turned up too high. The battery protection is going to kick in if you are using really low ohm tank and have your batt turned up too high.
Also, make sure bottom pin on protank is making good contact w/the battery....sometimes it helps to take tweezers, look underneath the tank and just pull the bottom pin out a bit.
Alslo when charging the spinner, set it at 4.2V. Then put on charger. The spinners charge that way and will blink and such until charged...light on usb cord will go green when done.
