Of course the higher the voltage the shorter the battery life. On a 650mah battery you may see 3-4 hours if it is consistently held at the higher settings - it goes up to 4.8v.

We will have the 650's but actually we will have more of the 900mah and 1000mah. Most of our initial batch will be the 650mah with a handful of 1000mah's, many more coming right after the shipment on Monday or Tuesday.

Nicest thing about this is Joyetech's reputation for a quality mainstream product with good QC. Then you have the Twist factor--instead of using a small tiny button to change voltage, and having to remember how to get to that part of the menu, the Joyetech Twist is straighforward in that you have a dial on the bottom that is marked with voltage levels, you Twist this dial to arrive at your desired level in .2 increments. That's it.

MOST vapers will do well with this, very well. It starts at 3.2v which is the standard original eGo regulated voltage. If you are used to that and your equipment and arsenal is calibrated to that then you won't be affected. But let's say you have to purchase a cartomizer that is more in the 2.8-3.0 range. If your vape is weak you have option of cranking it up 'til you get the desired vape.

Joyetech is claiming that they have circuitry in this that maintains the voltage set until the battery drains. If you set it at 3.8v it should stay right at 3.8v until the battery drains. Of course this is another benefit. If you have to maintain battery life because you do not have a readily available charged back-up, you can drop your voltage down until you do. Since they do this well with the original eGo here's to hoping it tranlsates to the Twist.

VV is why we also are carrying many more of the 900 and 1000mahs. In my experience the difference in height is not make or break. Using a 1000mah Joyetech right now (no the Twist), it doesn't look massive, etc. Makes more sense to me to stock more of the higher mah batteries, especially with the VV feature.

How long do you think a 650 mah battery would last at 4.4 volts? Just a guess.

Will definitely try to put them up on Monday afternoon once its verified they actually got to us. We ship out of Chris's office in New York. Even if I have to use stock Twist pics I'll get them up in case Chris won't be able to do pics right away.

Awesome! So they will be on the site...tomorrow :D??!!

People were asking about the price and we will probably be at $29.95 on the 650mah unit with price increasing somewhat with higher mah units. That's before any of the auto discounts you get with GotVapes such as the Newsletter VIP 5% and any Super VIP discount level you have achieved. I personally feel the $29.95 base price is a steal, honestly. The wholesale price on these is quite a bit more than a regular ego battery.

Here's a photo of the three different sizes. The 900 mah is roughly the same size as the Joye pass-through. I can also report that the voltage is kept constant right down the last toot. I was vaping away my favorite juice and I know it doesn't taste as good at 3.7 or below when I suddenly realized the battery ran out and needed a charge.
