i LOVE my eGo...have had it for 1.5 months, ordered from Nicotine Nirvana, no problems. I ordered mega carts and mega atty a week ago and love them.
since i have become so dependent on my eGo, i want to start a small "backup" of accessories in case my two original size attys/batteries die, and my one mega atty dies.

so....give me some ideas of what i should get...thinking about a stronger battery? mine is the stock ones that came with my kit (i think 650) or i hear something about a HELLO battery, and maybe something called a LR atty (not sure if this is worth it, or if it would fit mega carts).....basically anything to 'supersize' and upgrade my eGo.

mainly i DONT want to be stranded without my eGo, EVER!

oh by the way, i am hoping to find a battery that is compatible with the mega atty....unless there is a better atty out there that fits mega carts.
and i dont drip....i know, i am an ole veteran but i still dont "get" the dripping thing, and dont think it would be practical for me, as much as i vape, i'd be dripping more than vaping.

Don't use the standard atty, either. Get a few of these: https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=64_66_84&zenid=anio80gkrepk52ml8q5vab06d3.

You're making the right choice by giving dripping another go, BTW. I'm not so sure about the Super T stainless tips; you could get a six-pack of delrin tips for the $16.99 they want for one of those. Of course, I'd understand your getting one anyway. I play loose and fast with my credit card everytime I don't buy that carton of cigarettes I'd have otherwise bought two months ago.

But I digress. From the outside looking in, dripping looks like a bother. The reality is that the motion required to uncap a juice bottle and squeeze out 3 drops is pretty much that same effort you once expended to pull out the Zippo and light the end of your Marlboro. For your effort, you get a depth of flavor only the dripper knows...

what exactly does low resistance atomizer mean?

The idea is that it makes your 3.7V eGo perform like a 5-volter. Now, you'll find a lot of arguments in here as to whether or not an eGo is truly a 3.7V device, or whether the simulated 5V vaping with an LR atty is a valid concept. Booooring.

I've vaped my Riva with a standard atty and an LR, and I can tell you it's like mounting a V6 engine into a Volkswagon Bug.

Hey Texas, I use a Riva which is just like the Ego but I think a 750 mah battery and I went from cartridge, to mega cartridge, to cartomizer, finally to dripping. The Super T contour tips do work as that is what I use. They do cost about $20 or so and are more expensive that the regular delrin but I was paranoid about burning the tips so I went for stainless steel. They also work on the mega attys. I get my 510 attys from Rocky Mountain since it's free shipping over $14.

I am making my upgrade and moving to a juice box mod since it will do the regular volts like the other standard High Volt mods (3.7 and 6 V and estimate 5V with LR attys) plus it uses a 6 mL box so you don't have to continuously drip.

Anyhoo, just my 2 cents, and happy to share my experiences, trust me spent plenty of money so far for still being a noob :)

Vape On..

texastumbleweed, I also switched to an eGo from Nic Nirvana back in July and recently added mega attys to both of them. Love it!

Here's the thing about dripping. It's a constant hassle to some and worth the hassle to others. Constantly pulling out a bottle and uncapping it, dripping out liquid, screwing the cap back on and putting it away is a boring repetitive routine no matter what. So, by what politicallyincorrect says, that you can get used to the routine of popping it out every three drips because of the difference in flavor, that's great, but like myself, I've found the enormous mega carts hold dozens of drips, and with consistent flavor.

Also of note, the poly fill in the mega carts is garbage, toss it out and replace it with something people use and is known to work like fluval or foam. Poly may wick fiine in a tinier space like a 501/901, but not these. I'm using a rolled-up piece of the blue foam and can go a couple days without touching a bottle.

One trick that works nicely (not just on mega carts) is when it begins to taste like you're running out of juice, grab hold of it real tight with the battery facing away from you, and "whip" it like you're resetting a glass thermometer. Do this a couple of times and it pulls the juice forward. Full flavor once again. If this didn't work as well for me as it does, I'd probably be off using a juice box or some such reservoir unit, which I don't want to be solely reliant on due to their larger size.

If you want to make sure you're never without your ego, then find a setup (dripping, carts, cartos, etc) that you like and pick up a few extras. Three extras minimum of each of the necessary parts is my general rule. I use the ego USB battery mostly but I have 1 650mah battery, 3 900mah batteries, and 2 650 auto batteries. I use the mega/xl attys and have 1 in use with 4 backups. I have 10 xl carts and a half dozen 510 attys with a drawer full of carts for them. I also have 3 5-packs of 510 cartos. Combine all this with a half dozen 50ml bottles of juice and enough supplies to make another half dozen and I'm pretty sure that I'm safe from having to worry about being without anything.

Going one step further, I have a similar load of stuff for my v3 stick, KR minipipe, and my e-cigars.

I can't think of a situation aside from a natural disaster that would force me to use up all of that before at least one supplier could get me sufficient replacements. I wouldn't recommend going as overboard as I have, but keeping a few spare parts and supplies in reserve is always a good idea. Just think how many backups could you possibly go through in the days or weeks it takes for a resupply shipment to reach your door and go from there.

Strictly E Juice is out of stock. They don't offer the Genuine Joye Premium Wide Band Low Resistance Attys anyway. Check out this steal on Low Resistance Genuine Joye 510 Low Resistance Attys.LitecigUSA Premium Joye Low Resistance 510 Atomizer

As steals go, LiteCig's $7.95 doesn't seem much of one vis-a-vis Stricly E-Juice's $6.95, which becomes $6.26 after the discount code. You could know something I don't, but they've always been adament about the Genuineness of their Joye offerings--but it's all moot, of course, if they're out of stock.
