I receive 2 of these just a couple of days ago and wanted to pass on a quick review. (hopefully I posted in correct forum)
* The look, feel, and size is identical the V2 mega. The main difference between the V3 and V2 is that it has a variable wattage mode and ohm meter.
* Battery is a 1300 mAh and performs well. Charging from a drained state takes about 3.5 hours and fully charged it lasts me 2-3 days of vaping.
* Display is brighter and easier to read than that on my V2.
* Variable voltage/ wattage mode is selected by pressing the + button for 5 seconds. Current mode is indicated by a V or W in the display.
* Voltage/wattage setting is via the +/- buttons with a range of 3.0-6.0V or 3.0-15.0W in increments of 0.1V’s or 0.5W’s.
* Setting and mode can be locked to prevent accidental changes.
* Short/low resistance (below 1.2 ohm) protected.
* Coil resistance is displayed when you first screw your tank on and can be called up any time by pressing the – button for 5 seconds.
* Supports both 510 and eGo threads.
* Supports USB pass-through operation.
I really like this device as it is packs all the features of much more expensive MOD’s in a smaller and lighter package.
** Update: Like the V2 the power button on the V3 occasionally sticks on -auto shut down after 14 seconds. even with this issue, i would buy again.
