LF warranties their Riva batts for 2 months. I just had one die just under the 2 month mark and they're going to replace it (as soon as a black batt comes in stock) So even if it dies after 2 months, it's only $12.

IMO the Ego and Riva are very different. The difference in voltage is very noticeable to me. My eGo batts seem so weak to me compared to the Riva and my 3.7 box mods.

The Riva SE kit comes with 2 2.0 atties.. the Riva lite kit is $4.34 cheaper and includes 2 2.2 atties.. the Riva carto deluxe bundle comes with 5 2.0 cartos and a carrying case and is the best deal IMO unless you are an atty user and don't want a carrying case. (It's $34.39)

When I bought my kits the Joye had a 6 month warranty and the Riva had a 3 month warranty on their batteries. I assume that was from the manuf. and not LF. They have recently changed the warranty to two months. If you look at the batteries on their page one of the Joye still has a 6 month warranty.

If you purchased the kit under the old warranty they will still honor it.

I've used both, I like the button on the ego better. Other than that, I've noticed no difference. A co-worker of mine had both his eGo batteries die within a week of each other (about 6 months old), and he doesn't vape anywhere near what I do. I've only had one ego battery die on me, a USB battery that I dropped (while the cord was in) and it hit just right to knock some stuff loose. No Riva batteries have died on me... so... yeah, in my experience they are the same, except I like the ego button better, but not better enough to pay extra for it!

I have a T-Rex 1100mah from LF. Does anyone know the voltage on this one?

My guess would be it's 4.2 volts off charger (unloaded). I'm suspecting it is not a Joye product. If it is in 3.7 range off charger, I suspect Joye. If likely manufactured by Joye (whoever the manufacturer of Joye products is?), PWM style. PMW not necessarily bad - just more moderated voltage. I personally prefer the non-PWM bats. What I think happens with the non-PWM bats is that most of life of charge above PMW types. Short period (if you continue to use) below PWM. Over period of discharge of bat, IMO, non-PWM better. Just MO.

I have too many ego's ( 7) and a few ali's plus a 5 box mod.The rivas seems to be well made from friend advice. The extra power would sway me to buy them next to try flavors for sure,I like to try stuff as opposed to finding the most economical one so my thoughts are swayed a touch.Buying anything (like my "Total wine" addiction) for your shear enjoyment may sound extreme, but do what feels good to you.

I have both ego Joye batts and Rivas and I notice a more powerful vaping experience with the Riva. Maybe due to the higher voltage in the Riva? Have not had any problems with either Joye or Riva. BTW, the Joye Batts I have are Ego-T's. What I typically do is use the Riva batt and carry the Ego-T (turned off) in my pocket in case the Riva dies then use the Ego-T.
