I use them as well. That is probably why I remembered you mentioning it. I agree with the less airflow than the serpent statement. I do like how easy the bachelor is to fill. Usually I don't have to take it off the mod to do this. My serpents come off to fill. Easier to invert the tank when opening juice control.

I agree it is a joy to fill. After two tankfulls I was a little disappointed in the airflow. The coil I had in it was quite long essentially took up the whole deck notch to notch. I pulled that one out and wrapped a kanthal coil about half the length and now it's much better. Increased the airflow significantly.

Is the Bachelor good for mouth to lung? As good as say a kayfun or ubertoot?
I don't know about the ubertoot but I would say the kayfun 4 wide open would be a good comparison. The bachelor can be dialed down to a very restrictive MTL or a more airy MTL. Even wide open its a restrictive DTL.

Sounds like it's right up my alley...many thanks

I am so confused by the MTL and the DTL statements. The bachelor has to be dialed waaaay down to have a MTL. It is a DTL tank. Just check the size of the internal airflow tube. Huge. Any restrictions are wholly due to coil placement.

This tank gives options a plenty on airflow, easy top fill, easy coil installation, fantastic wicking, and easy juice control. Plus, all parts are user serviceable. No bainer for $20.

I received the 2 I ordered from Eciggity yesterday, took them apart (which was more difficult than it should have been), and gave them a proper bath after ripping out the stock coil. The chimney was on TIGHT and I feared I might break the glass trying to unscrew it, but finally with grippers on both ends I managed to wrench them free.

I built both today. First tried a 3mm 27 gauge kanthal but, like in the past, 3mm just doesn't play nice for me. Dialed it down to 2.5mm and it all fell into place. The post holes seemed a little finicky, but it is most likely due to this being my first bottom post, or "postless" rebuildable. I am also using a new ohm meter, the Geek Vape 521, which didn't want to read my resistance on these Bachelors. All in all, it took about an hour to coil both tanks. Longer than anticipated, but using new tools and new equipment is always an adventure.

Installing rayon for wicking was easy and hassle free. Reassembly, filling was a breeze with no leaking. I did notice and hour or so later than one Bachelor lost a white O-ring from the deck (found it in the sink), but still no leaking.

The flavor, at first, wasn't remarkable, but the airflow was smooth, the vapor dense even with it closed off. The build came out to 1.10 and 1.28 respectively. After only an hour of light use, the flavor kicked in, fully saturated. I've now been using it for most of the evening, 1/4 of the tank empty, not a single dry hit with with periods of chain-vaping. The juice flow control isn't even fully opened, and the airflow is 1/4 notch wide on both sides (yes, I'm a tootle-puffer), but the flavor is phenomenal.

Aside from the learning curve, this has been the best RTA experience I've had to date.

Woooot! Welcome brother. Had a feeling that you would dig it. It took a tank full for it to fully kick the flavor in for me too.

Like a nice cast iron skillet
I've never tossed a cast iron skillet. When necessary I just build a nice Bon fire. Toss it in. Burn off years of build up. Start the seasoning process over again [emoji3]

Day 2: Day-um!

It's tank 2, today, with the 1.20 ohm coil in it. The juice flow control is open more on this; I just never closed it down. I had a doctor's appointment and errands to run today, so I took this one out and about with me. No leaks, but damn good flavor and the vapor keeps on coming.

I'm using it on my white with blue racing stripes Evic VT and it's sexy and awesome, and dare I say, THE best vape experience to date.

I'm convinced!
I like my Crowns a lot, but they seem to play the "Where's the leak" game at odd times.
I am certain it is my wicking, but I'm just getting a bit tired of finding juicy fingers when vaping.
Odd thing about the leaks are that they happen well after the coil and wicking have been made and used. Usually about 3-5 days after. Never a lot, but steady once it starts.

Enough about my faulty wicking skills, where can I buy one of these?
