Also make sure you cut it pretty close the the cup. If its too long, the jc might grab it and move it out of place.

I watched that youtube video about 10 times so I think I am ok on the distance, I believe now I just didn't have enough cotton to fill the channels. Time will tell now! Thanks for all the help, I'll get this thing right eventually.

I am highly impressed with this. After a full day with it, it's killing it. Never a dry hit no leaks. 94%VG, 3mm rayon keeps up at 47w, jc full open most the time, I did take advantage and close during heavy travel. A little noisier than I hoped on lung pulls but normal. I'll try to mod it at some point to quiet it down.

Liking this bachelor quite a bit, I'm new at building and this has been a little tricky for me to keep it from leaking so far. I think my last build is correct (just finished and started vaping it) but it seems to be a little time that tells if it leaks or not. I used the installed coil for a while but the time it took to heat up was not great for me. Not sure what i did with my first build but it was jumping ohms (2.5mm 26g SS) and not sure but this last build (3mm 26g Kanthal) is a whopping 1.69-1.68 ohms, is that normal?

And it's staring to leak... with the JC 1/2 or less open as well. Love vaping on this but really having trouble building it correctly.

It did take me a while the first build. It's such a huge deck really, I debated for a while what to do. The original coil is gigantic. I ended up going 26 too. First one was up at 1.6ohm at 3mm it's normal, it's a lot of space and wire. I took out two wraps and spaced the coil a little more still 1.38. Need to take a couple more wraps out and space it more. Then I think it's will really come alive, instant massive clouds, it's already chucking impressive clouds. If I had a hundred watt I could turn it up to 50-60 and fog it out but I'm maxed on the evic by ohms.

I assume your using cotton since your having issue. Make sure your tails are fluffy, need to fill the channels especially at the bottom. You probably want to lower your coil some to help.

I think the original leg length is slightly too long. That coil nearly touches the ceiling in there. Lower it a little, this will help you keep the wick in the bottom of the u slots. If it's loose at the bottom of the slots, Liquid will leak by to the deck.

Otherwise a bigger coil for more wick but starts to get unruly for ramp up and retention; with even more wire or lower gauge. If you must you can try cheating it by adding an over or under wick, a little piece meshed in just at the channels to help fill them more.

She's definitely a lung hit tank.

But with a smaller coil wide spaced or with the legs bent out to reach... and the air closed way down you may be able to manage mtl. With such a large coil it demands lung hits I think.

If you take 4 wraps off that coil, and barely crack the air and jc. I think it will be more to your liking.

Or, the easy way to cheat it.. Only hit the fire button for a second and continue the draw for a few seconds cause the coil will still be hot. This will produce less vapor and heat. Just feather the button for a little shot of vapor so it doesn't produce too much. I just mtl hit it by just pushing the fire button till it started to produce then let off mid vape. It's a little funny at first if you've never do e it before but you get the timing down quickly. Or if you have a temp Control it may help manage it for you.

MTL: It's how you build. I'm using a 1.2-1.3 ohm 28 gauge coil, I think it's 6 wraps, 2.5 mm diameter and get a loose MTL or restricted DTL. Juice Flow Control and AC dialed down (using a 50/50 and 60/40 blend). 15 watts. Plenty of vapor, ample flavor.

I could open it up more, drive more wattage, but I don't like burning through eliquid ;) The Bachelor, and my EVIC VT, are capable of so much more, but I enjoy the tamed beast.

Thanks for all the guidance, leak free today (besides that moment of opening the top when pulling from my pocket in the car)! I think it's more of a general building issue than specific to this tank, starting to get the hang of rebuilding. Back to enjoying this tank quite a bit.

Had some leaking, checked out the o-rings in the glass section. The white one right at the bottom had fused to the tank. There was a spare for this one, also the white ones on the side... but no spare for what is under the chimney which is what I believe everyone is losing.

As for pics of the removed text, I haven't gotten around to polishing it and making the area uniform yet. That's supposed to be step 2. Right now if you look closely under bright light a faint imprint of the text is still there and some difference in finish. If you don't want that, try a solvent or finer grit sand paper, sugar, etc. If I was them, I would have written ehpro instead of an awkward conversation starter.

Ehpro has really screwed up as far as support goes. My wife damaged her top fill seal. I emailed them asking how would I go about buying another. No response @ all. Until this incident, I held them high on my totem pole. You want customer support? How about Geekvape replacing my faulty deck free of charge. On top of that, I purchased my Griffin on Ebay and they still didn't have a problem with backing their product. Ehpro needs to take notes from Geekvape. Not only that, they need to realize that they aren't the only company that makes rta's.

Yep I tried again and got the same response so I tried Eciggity to see if they could get some.

Damn shame, build a tank and won't sell spares. Daisy at EHPro just keeps telling me to buy more tanks. Those would be some damn expensive O-rings.

I forwarded the EHPro e-mail to Eciggity since they are a primary business partner so they could ask EHPro what the hell they were thinking.

Thanks Noodle.

I gave them a link to this thread and also expressed that the white fill gasket/O-ring should be part of the kit.
I tried Eciggity 1st and they sent me to Ehpro. Not very happy with them either. I'm still waiting on my replacement fill screw for the Billow v1. Needless to say, that tank/tanks have been retired long ago. But still.......
