To your sense of style perhaps. They look like a perfectly normal light blue to me.
Yes... the silicone material adds a "sheen", maybe that's it.
In fact... it just happens that as I look over at mine, there are three 30ml Unicorn bottles standing right behind. The caps are an extremely close match.
Like that means anything, one way or the other.
And what's being missed here is my point... I'm not seeing a bunch of opinions saying "I like the black rings". What I'm seeing is a bunch of knee-jerk posts saying "the blue is ugly".
NO IT ISN'T.
Damn... if there's a color nearly as un-offensive as black... it's blue. Certainly not red.
You don't have to prefer them... but there's nothing wrong with the blue O-Rings.
edit for Nailz... I don't think I've seen the Kanger blues IRL.
eta2... and what's wrong with "Baby Blue"? They match my eyes.![]()
Well no doubt you have a strong opinion. I guess the whole army is out of step with you.![]()
Ugh. I've had mine for a couple weeks and now it's leaking. I'll try making sure the top gasket is EXTRA lubed but I usually lube it my mistake when I fill. Hope this problem gets resolved or its back to my trusty subtanks that never leak.
Well oh crap. Looks like I DID lose that o-ring!Make sure you didn't lose the o ring in the chimney. Its clear and seals the top of the deck cup to the chimney.

First day, no leaks. I did try the T/C but the .6 coil would fire at 50J even at the lowest setting on my mini+. The built in coil was huge. I was able to use 30AWG and still get it to hold strong. Wicking was easy even with a small coil, no dry hits so far. The bachelor text removed with an emory file.
I am still enjoying mine, but have the strangest thing with it, when did the 1st built and screwed the tank on, I got no vapor at all, could here the coil firing, but no vapor, unscrewed tank check build and all looks good, put tank back on, and now vapor as if nothing wrong.
Just thought it was just a 1 off, but nope, twice since then, have taking tank off to re-wick, and both times, had same thing, no vapor, take tank off and back on and works fine, really strange thing, coil producing vapor but not coming up to drip tip.
It's not a big enough problem to put me off the tank, but is a strange one though![]()
Could you have accidentally shut the afc when you screwed it on the mod? I've done that.
