I'm just repeating tips others gave to me before, but could it be you're having your wick touch the two tiny holes on the deck perhaps or got some in between the o-rings and the casing maybe?

I try to avoid both of those things, i've definitely done the last one more than once by mistake, could really feel that it jammed the burrs.

My wicking game probably sucks. I don't know how, but my wicking must be kinda crappy if this is the result.

Is there a risk that juice is dripping down the tiny deck holes even if the wick is not touching them?

I really don't know man, sorry. I'm still pretty new at making coils and wicks myself.

I find it pretty easy to do with the cotton I'm using though, have you ever tried Native Wicks? It comes in a roll and all the fibers are in one direction pretty much like a thick fluffy cotton string. I just cut of the length and thickness I need & don't fluf it up or anything, just wet one end with a drop of VG & roll it to a point a bit and then stuff it through the coil as far as possible without distorting it and then carefully pull the rest through with ceramic tweezers. With a 3mm coil stuffed to the brim and sitting low to the deck I have enough in there to fill the two juice holes without leaving gaps.

My juice is really thick too though, that must help.

I also got my Bachelor Nano in. So far, the main difference has been heat. The drip tip gets noticeably hotter than the full size, even with a delrin or glass drip tip at only 20w. We now have an exposed stopper pin on the airflow control instead of the hidden stopper on the full sized. The airflow control is stiffer on the nano, which isn't really a bad thing except they also did away with the grip grooves on the AFC ring. That makes it harder to unscrew the tank from the mod. The airflow is just a hair tighter than my full sized Bachelor. That could be the stock coil. I'll throw a SS coil on it in a bit.

I certainly haven't put it through it's paces yet. With the heat this tank sends to the drip tip I'm hoping that a TC build will tame it a little. It's only on the third or fourth chain puff that gets hot.

Gotta say, it's a beautiful looking tank with very nice flavor so far.

EDIT: I threw in a 3.5mm SS Clapton coil at .61Ω to use in TC and it's definitely nicer. It doesn't get as hot after a couple long pulls. I prefer a cooler vape and it's giving terrific flavor in TC without too much heat.

Any1 got the Nano and can confirm the ROC coils from the normal also fit the Nano?
And more importantly: can you also use your own clapton, hive etc. coils in there, as I heard someone mention the holes will only take small diameter (max 24G or so) wire........so that would mean no thick coils?

I don't know what ROC coils are but it comes with the same coil installed as the regular Bachelor, that thick one. Holes seems the same size as on the regular version, would that answer your question?

Partially, I think the ROC coils:
10pcs E Cigarette Coil Head

should than also fit the Nano.
But don't own a regular Bachelor, so can't tell if it will take thicker wire types like claptons/hives from your statement...
but thanks anyways, much appreciated!

Those coils in your link should work just fine. I've never used Claptons or hives but I think the biggest I'd be able to fit in there are two strands of 25g twisted together to give you an indication. But I'm sure someone who has experience with more intricate builds will chime in later on.

Just wanted to show the difference between the regular mouthpiece (doesn't make sense to me to call these drip-tips on non-dripping devices) and the one that comes with the MTL kit.

Still bad weather and thus bad lighting over here though, so hopefully two lousy pics will show it enough. They look the same from the outside but are a lot different on the inside:

Please note that these are nickel coils, so you must have a temperature control-capable device. Don't want anyone overlooking that.

I've been hearing that everyone has been taking out the stock coils and winding their own, as the stock coil takes too long to heat up/cool down, so maybe grabbing a pack of these will work great for those that say the drip tip gets hot on the Nano.

im wondering what the SS notch coils will be like in this tank? i think they are around 4-5mm diameter so they might be perfect. i guess well have to see how wide they are as well.

I also posed that question in the Theorem thread, in case anyone had both tanks, but received no answer.

Well, it does say Ni, but it also says 0.5 ohm and that would imply the Nicr coils......ordered a pack (heck for $2), so will see once they arrive

This is what is says in the description:

10pcs original Ehpro BACHELOR E Cigarette coil head
Material: Nickel and Japanese cotton
Resistance: 0.5ohm
Fit for Ehpro BACHELOR RBTA
10 pieces in a package

... But it wouldn't be the 1st time that a item's description was wrong.

I think most of us just prefer to use our own coils, that's why I didn't use the stock coils anyway. They also include one of those nickel coils with both the Nano and the regular version by the way. Call me paranoid, but I would never use nickel personally.

I've been wicking my subtank mini rba without problems since september, but wicking this rta just doesn't work for me without leaking.

Haven't tried native wicks. Should try it if nothing else works.

I only have muji at home (just received a package of 189pcs). My first muji wick on the bachelor worked amazing, i could vape with the jfc open all the way with 60/40 VG.

I'm currently trying a new approach:
1. Raised the coil a bit to increase the distance between the wick and the small holes in the deck just to make sure there is zero contact.

2. Instead of rolling and fluffing the cotton i just cut a strip, removed the outer layers, made one end pointy and wicked the coil.

Just had to wipe of a little juice ring on my mod, but that could be some old leftover juice stuck in the afc ring since the last build.

I'll report back if this works.

My regular Bachelor also sweats a bit on the bottom sometimes. Might just be condensation but I'll keep an eye on it.

My Nano doesn't do it but it sweats a bit on the side from the seam just above the air-holes. I think that might be from over-lubricating all the o-rings before assembly though. I'll take it apart and clean it tomorrow and see if it keeps doing that.

Do you hae a link or a pic of those perhaps? I can't find anything about them.
