Oh, I know. I have nine RTAs in rotation and some sit longer than others. I think it just has to do with the length of the wicking material, which is very short/small compared to most other RTAs. This is my first build and wick in this tank, so it's all a learning curve.
Just pulled the trigger on 2 of them. Hoping it gets better juice milage my other rta's

In my experience the juice mileage is better than my serpents despite the supposed same capacity. I can vape thru a serpent tank in an hour. The bachelor seems to last twice as long.

Threw a 1.06 ohm, 3.5mm, 26 gauge build in it this morning.
Flavor is really good, vaping it at 22. I'm still trying to find the sweet spot with my diy juices.

Made myself a high tech coil width leg length tool today.
Guess I'm going to have to wrap a coil using my SS430 28 GA soon. Just because.
Think I'll use a 3mm diameter contact coil.
Also think it'll be a whole lot of wraps.
Mainly, I want to get the wicking worry out of the way. Using the coil that came installed, it has been a pleasure to vape.

This is about where I would build also. I'm interested in this tank as a loose MTL, above ohm flavor vape.
Curious to know how long a tank full lasts you in that config.
I am loving this tank. I'm a die hard single-coiler. Easy build, excellent wicking, great flavor and works great with temp control. My only gripe is that it's a little tall and heavy. Am patiently waiting for the nano version!
Well, it's a good MTL for a typical MTL'er, and a tight DTL for those guys, and I'm somewhere inbetween, so I'm happy.
The build is super easy, no leaking like a KFxxx like I've experienced. 3.1 and 4 were leak nightmares for me, this has been dry except for a bit of condensation that a rinse when rewicking will easily cure.
Wicking is easy as pie, just take a KGD strip as wide as thick, and peel the thinnest possible layer off both sides, or leave one on... Do this on a 3mm coil (ss for me) and wick approx 1mm beyond the deck channels. Juice and then tuck square to fully fill the holes and you'll have a readily juiced coil with no dry hits.
Be sure to realize that this is a single coil tank, so crazy 50w temps are not advised unless building with baler wire. JK. I build with 26ga SS so I vape at a cool 22w and enjoy every minute of the cool full vape it offers. I'm still on the fence with TC and this tank has worked for both VW and TC for me.
Like it or leave it, the bachelor is a cool cat that satisfies if you're willing to work with what it has to offer. It's almost like a tank that goes it's own way!!!!!!!

So mine finally showed up today, got two of them. Took out the stock coil and threw in some SS 316, about 9 wraps, 3mm ID, came out to .65 ohm.
Wicked it with some KGD, tried it in both wattage and TC modes, works great in both! TC actually worked great and a very satisfying vape with excellent flavor so far! But I think I messed up the wicking and it leaked pretty bad. I'll need to spend more time with it tomorrow and try not to cut the wick too short, and maybe not leave the juice flow wide open.
I think I might actually have a companion for my beloved Lemo 2

I love a tank with a single coil and without all the massive air flow that most new tanks come with nowadays.I've had some random leaking with this tank and I think I've finally figured it out. It would always happen right after a fresh rewicking, I'd unscrew the base, check out the wicking, put it back in and it would be fine without changing anything. The other day I had a bad leak, did the usual but it was still leaking. I looking inside the chimney at the o-ring and it was all scrunched up and out of place. I always clean and dry it before rewicking and I always make sure that o-ring is there since it falls out a lot so it seems because it is dry the o-ring is basically sticking and getting scrunched up when putting the base in. The last couple of times I have taken out the o-ring and lubed it up with some juice before putting the base in and no more leaks.
Good info! I'll need to take a closer look at those o-rings tonight.
