I have been read the mail on this top gasket problem. What is the "Merlin thread"?
Merlin is the new single coil RTA I designed with Augvape. More info is coming very soon, and then I'll start a thread.
Do you know what size the screw is on the V1? I have just about every size and can send yo a couple but I don't own a V1.
And Eciggity replied already saying that the owner of Eciggity will contact EHPRO regarding this issue, they will wait for their response and hopefully they will solve this issue that so much customers are having.
I don't have a v1 anymore either or I would check it. My guess is M2 x either 3 or 4.

We are delayed due to a materials issue. Should be rectified this week though, and then I'll be able to start a thread and show it to you.
I lowered my coil down. 3mm coil even with the top now. I think it's better flavor. Took a few more wraps out and got the 26 down to an ohm.
In small issue with mine is the one side leg gets bent by the set screw down in the hole and the coil doesn't like to pull right out afterwards it's wedged on the one side. Like there's an opening for some reason the leg gets pushed into causing a bend. Think they built it with 22g in mind but that was also kinked from the factory. Not sure why they did that, do others have this issue?

Mine gets the kink it the down leg also. and a couple of time has been a real wrestling match to get it back out.
Yeah it takes needle nose pliers on the leg to pull it. Luckily when I pulled/ yanked the coil out it perfectly pulled out two wraps for me and I cut and reinstalled it lower to the air hole.

Also be careful and try not to break of the kinked end while it is still down int the hole. I did that and you can spend a lot of time trying to fish that little bugger out of the hole.
All three of mine do the kink in the leg. I've lost a few coils I was wanting to keep, but didn't have the patience to get it out.
It seems like the "post" hole tube is short on that side. (The positive side) Because the leg can also wiggle more necessitating tightening the set screw more which kinks it. The other side is great, nice and snug, no kink. Oh well it's working so well as a tank system I can't complain too much. Been very happy with it so far.

On my very first Rose build (and I was a complete and utter noob) I broke a piece of lead inside a post. Kept trying to build it, and it kept reading shorted
