And now you wasted 30 bucks on a clone that you could have put toward an authentic....

A. Seller is more than willing to refund

B. Sorry but I refuse to pay more for a tank than I did for my most expensive mod

Not gonna get into a clone vs authentic debate. Everyone knows there are many great quality clones on the market. EHPro is usually on top with quality.

Tobeco appears to be on top with KF4's here. Loving both of the ones I got and paid only $43 all together

I'm seeing people seem to be satisfied with the Tobeco. But it seems to require some tinkering to get it to work right as well. Really trying to avoid that because one of the worst parts of that is skimming back through 100's of posts trying to find the cure for a specific issue. I just hate having to spend money on something brand new and then have to tinker or modify to get it to work right.

Both the Tobeco's I got yesterday, work perfect so far. All I had to do was disassemble, clean, reassemble, build coil, wick coil and adjust air flow to my liking. They were pretty clean right out of the box. Not much for machine oil smell, no metal burs and all threading is smooth. Juice controls also seem to work fine. Have topped them off with juice without any issues. Only issue I have is that I might need to drop my nic levels. After chain vaping last night, I was starting to feel it. Didn't notice this with my other Kayfun models.

I would rather just buy the real thing. I only bought this one because it was black and looked cool. I'm glad some of you found a way to make the clones work but for me I will just use the authentic's from now on.
We'd probably all buy the real things if we could afford them too - a lot of us can't or won't drop $180+ on an atty.
The only reason there's problems with the K4 is because of the speed at which it was cloned.

I have clones of a good few atties, most released a few months after the fact - one or two outperform the originals.

Other than a good cleaning, I haven't had to tinker with my Tobeco at all.

My FT on the other hand, took a good bit of tinkering.

Tobeco is the only clone so far that requires NO TINKERING to work. I received a black one Friday and after cleaning it (5 mins) and building a ni200 coil (5 mins), it just worked. I ordered a silver Tobeco within 3 hrs. I've been using it for the past couple of days and it's flawless.

That's fine if you can't afford it, I never said everyone should buy it, I said I'm buying another one and will never buy another clone. I don't care what people waste their money on, I choose to waste mine on what I want.

I'll buy lots of clones, I research the hell out of what I'm buying so I don't waste my money.

Before my kids came along I had no problem dropping serious cash on things I didn't really need, now I spend a lot less on things I don't really need and I'm still happy - that's all that's important at the end of the day.

Just got the ehpro kf4, working on it tonight. Other than the screw you remove where you fill, its well done, no problems with the juice flow on mine. So did the screw where you fill it caused problems on your ehpro ? Just wondering.

The top cap not having a flat spot is a pretty big problem to have. It doesn't let air escape when you screw it back in. It'll flood it, every single time. I've stopped using mine until I fix it.

Weird, I just did my build and filled it from the top, no flooding using mine but I'm using the plastic tank...I close the juice flow when I fill it.

Tank would have nothing to do with it. Without the flat part the juice will be pushed down because the air was never let out. I don't know how yours didn't flood.

Tap'd from my LG G3

Did you fully prime the wick before hand?

I'd say you lucked out. As soon as I start turning that screw after a fill mine floods. This is with juice control fully closed.

I got my ehpro version a few days ago. I've refilled twice already with no flooding issues. I just close the juice control, open the top cap, fill 'er up, close the top cap, and vape away.

edited: Even after washing it with dish soap, it did have a bad machine oil taste. I soaked it in iso-alc over night and washed with dish soap again. It actually could use a third cleaning because there is still a slight m.o. taste hanging on to it.
