So im a semi exp vapor junkie and flavor chaser and these last 6 months i have spent 2 grand at least on tons of RTA'S and RBA'S , every kind of wicking material possible and every guage wire not too mention at least a grand on high shelf ejuice from giantvapes and tons of tools so im set now too try everything i can get my hands on lol.

My first order too start was
2x kayfun lite v2 dual airhole ehpro
1x authentic kayfun lite v2
1x magma infinte
1x kraken
1x taifun gt authentic
6x nautilis minis
1x authentic hana dna 30
1x authentic nemesis
1x ipv2 50 watt
1x panzer blackhawk ehpro

I started messing with tons of builds on the kayfuns and just LOVED them especially the clone ones lol. I found out of every single guage and coils that 26 guage
wrapped around a bigger 3mm drill bit at 1 ohm on the dot and thicker peice of cotton worked by far the best. Less cotton dry hitted and 28 guage was just too thin.

The taifun gt sucked at first but as soon as i started using bigger drill bits and bigger 26 guage at 1.1 ohm and cutting the cotton tails very short its awsome!!
The magma everyone knows is one of the top RDA'S you can get and the kraken i dunno how too build nor want too lol.

Anyway point is is i just ordered a TON of stuff.
Kayfun v4 ehpro ,,,Lemo drop eleaf ,,,veritas clone ,,,origin clone ,,,plume veil clone ,,,tugboat clone ,,,aqua v2 clone. All of them are latest versions and i got
Sigelei 150 watt ,,,eleaf istick and alot of drip tips. I just recieved them last night.

So all exited i whipped out the kayfun v4 ehpro cause in my exp kayfuns are by far the best flavor and got too work. Pulling it apart i noticed there is too many parts for my taste and i put my coils and cotton in and every single time it was terrible:(:(
The juice control always loosens and doesnt tighten very well and the vapor is weak and the flavor sucked. I tried smaller drill bit wraps and tried 1 ohm up too 1.4 ohm and same results. Also if the juice control was closed it would flash "check atomizer" but i eventually figured out why.

Am i doing something wrong? is there anyone who has had good success with one or managed too get better flavor then the kayfun lite?
Or is kayfun v4 a complicated mess of a RTA? Even built top notch will it beat out my kayfun lite or should maybe i bench it and start on my new arrivals lol

Pics help.
I have tried 26 and 28 guage , i have tried macro and nano coils and tried different cotton variations so pics wont help.
I can build everything i have awsome but the kayfun v4 i just cant get it too work good. Also my biggest problem is the juice control is SO loose!

On the deck there is those 2 juice holes , whats the best way too lay the cotton on them? extra cotton or less?

I tried four different builds on my K4 before I finally excepted defeat and went searching for tips. Another person had the same problem and went with a 3mm id coil with 28ga at 1.5Ω. I'll be damned if it didn't work for me too, FINALLY! I've always used 1.5mm coils in everything I have because they slammed the flavor into my mouth. Just didn't work in my K4. With the large diameter I'm able to have a lot of cotton to cover the wicking holes and still leave it really loose inside the coil. I'm a believer.

If the juice control is really loose it's one of two things. Either you disn't put it back together right or you got a bad one. Concensus says the Ephro version of the K4 is probably the worst one out there. Sorry but everywhere I've read says the same thing. I have a Tobeco and a couple of others, not sure of the manufacturer, but they work very well for me. I use 29 gauge 3mm coils at 1.6 or 1.7 ohms and they work great.

Kayfun4 is a good tank but is it better than my Kayfun Lites V2's. I say no but they are equal in vaping/building ect. Is the Kayfun4 a little more complicated with spin this, then spin that, answer is yes. Owning 5 Kayfun Lites would I buy another Kayfun4. Answer is yes, I have a Subohm Kayfun4 on the way as we speak.

I've had the most problems with Ehpro's clones. Frak, even their "not a clone" chit has lousy quality control, and parts of two of the exact same rba, prove not to be interchangeable. Just saying.

Still waiting for my V4 clone, figured it was worth the $16 gamble, couldn't find an authentic. Truly feel this looks like the first Real improvement version of the Kayfun since the 3.1 came out.

Hoping I win the clone lotto on this order, am due for a winner :D:lol:

The juice control on my real one is rather tight, as it should be. If yours is loose I would check to make sure that there is an o-ring on the UC upper section (the square piece that moves up and down). If there is, you may want to replace it with a thicker one. I would think that that would solve your problem.

As far as building it goes, I do it exactly as I did the KFL+, with a larger coil, like yours, and a thick piece of cotton trimmed to touch and cover the deck. I don't pay any mind to the juice channels. The only difference is that I can't use the lower chimney to measure the wicks anymore and have to trim each side individually.

The fact that you have a clone complicates the matter because it's hard to tell if you're having trouble with the design itself or with an imperfect copy of it.

I agree that the v4 has too many parts, which is due for the most part to the juice control. Since I only ever use it in two positions, fully open for vaping and fully closed for filling, and since I don't find the top fill system to be that much better than before, they could just dispense with that altogether as far as I'm concerned.

In my experience, the v4 produces more vapor than the KFL+ and supports higher wattages for identical builds, but the Rose v2 remains my preferred RTA.

Ok. So I finally figured out why the juice flow control on mine was so loose. I had put everything back together after cleaning EVERY SINGLE PIECE won't ever do that again) and found that when I replaced the 510 pin I didn't have the juice flow completely open. It does make a huge difference. This is what I did...
1) Empty your tank.
2) Open juice flow wide open
3) Remove the Universal Connector with the build deck from the tank section.
4) Remove 510 pin from base.
(You might want to make sure the #9 counter screw is tight, as doofy666 said, after this step by turning the Flow Control ring as if to shut it off. This will make the Atomizer Deck rise. Keep turning until you're able to remove it. Then remove the 10 insulator from inside the #8 UC Upper Section. Tighten the #9 Counter Screw with screwdriver then reverse these steps.
5) Make sure Juice Flow is open to its fullest. (Ring will spring freely with 510 pin removed)
6) Replace 510 pin and then reassemble.

This was the problem on mine. Hope it works for you as well.

Ok I'm trying to be helpful not offensive so with that said ....

It sounds like you haven't really completely disassembled the unit.. That 510 re-insertion should have nothing to do with the juice control being open / closed.

If you have COMPLETELY disassembled the unit ( which I highly recommend [ often ] to learn the intricacies of the unit clone or not) part No 9 actually controls the looseness of that lower assembly .. when I give mine her occasional little shower if I'm going to be using a different juice or do a fresh build (coil) I disassemble the whole thing, as juice can settle in that lower part. I have the original spring with its sliver corroded off to prove it.

Also over time / frequency of use, that Part No 9 just gets loose and the range of travel for opening / closing the juice control begins to expand and well, its time to take her completely apart ( section A )
and tighten her up again..
Per the diagram I havent disassembled section "B" yet but I do have the 4S kit so thats going to happen soon .

Also God forbid you take the 510 out and fiddle with the Air Flow, then you really will notice
the expanding range of play in the juice control.
A little note here for experienced users .. that adjustment to the air flow can be mastered, without getting a case of the wobblies ( loose connection from juice control portion up ) but you have to be REALLY REALLY careful with where the juice control section is before AND after to remove & replace the 510 screw.... its very tricky, but it can be done..

I have some Royal blueV4 Clone I believe EhPro is the clone maker, And when I first got it I thought it was a hot mess. But with time disassembling / reassembling cleaning that section in question,, you begin to understand how its supposed to work,, and how to deal with its little tricks to make it shine...

With Kayfuns, Granted I'm still a noob overall, but I hear you have to leak a little juice a few times to actually master the art of Kayfun

 Good luck I will assure you its worth the time spent fiddling around with the little tiny pieces of machined steel

Vape in yo face !! :p :D http://i.imgur.com/DyGrgTE.jpg

ADDENDUM:: :::

If you have actually disassembled the section A as I described ,
actually getting to those inside parts like No 9 then it sounds like you reassembled it in a poorly chosen order because again that 510 screw should not have anything to do with the juice control being open or closed..
Reassemble from bottom to top

I like the k4 a lot better than the kfls I had. I did a 28g, 7 wrap on 3/32" bit for 1.4 ohm. Vapes fantastically!
I've been using the same set-up (2.5 mm rod on a Coil-Master) for the past few months and I have had no problems. I have three total and I like them enough to get 'em colored glass from Spectrum Tanks.
