I'll be the first to say, stop using it and tell your friends to throw it away. I use cap strawberry and so do my buds. Haven't heard of any blistering problems from anyone. I honestly believe that Cap strawberry is safe to vape, though it doesn't mean a vendor is incapable of dropping the ball. Hope you find out what is causing your unfortunate experience and let us know what happened.

I can eat peanuts with abandon, but I know others that are allergic to them.

Disinfecting cleaning wipes often have citric acid in them, and they will cause my hands to get itchy and blister, so I think this is totally possible. Or it could be another compound in their strawberry flavoring. Strawberry flavor generally contains over 50 compounds.

Another possibility is if you are vaping very high nic at higher wattage, you can start to get mouth sores from it.

Or it could be a reaction to PG that has taken a while to manifest. But if this started right away with this flavoring, it is probably the flavoring. Ideally, you should try to vape unflavored for a while and see if it goes away. If not, it might be too high nic, or it could also be a delayed reaction to PG. But the flavor sounds like the most likely culprit.

In the meantime, gargling with a baking soda aqueous solution will take some of the pain away. I do this to ease the discomfort of cancer sores when I get them...actually cinnamon does this to me.

So I took the advice of one of you and have been vaping some commercial ejuice. My mouth has healed and is doing fine. Going to mix up another bottle straight from my bulk bottles and see if it happens again.

I'm interested in your results. I have some of their nic base also but haven't used much of it yet. I got it a few weeks ago.

That's what I was thinking is that the nicotine could be higher than the target... but the allergy to PG or citric acid is possible. Maybe try doing what they did and lowering the VG ratio. I have noticed myself that my mouth isn't as dry when I don't have a high VG. I don't vape enough to get any sores, I don't think... or maybe I'm not as sensitive. Not sure but these are good to know. I had never heard of that previously.

I had a similar situation with FA white peach. I used 9 ml of base (70/30 PG/VG with WL nic diluted to 12%) and 1 ml of FA white peach. It was wonderful, so I mixed another at 1.5 ml of white peach. (diluted the nic down a little), it was quite strong, a little overbearing and I ended up with the same sensitive gums after a couple of days. Diluted it back to 10% flavoring and the sensitivity went away.

Been vaping for 5 months now and also been DIY since the beginning. I have never had an issue with any nicotine/pg/vg. I recently purchased my first order if Capellas flavoring specifically the sweet strawberry. Also I switched to nicotine for MFS over wizard labs because of the stock issues the were having. Since the switch I have been mixing straight unflavored base and adding just a few drops of the Capella strawberry. I vaped this for a week and now my mouth is totally blistered on the inside. I also have made a lot of this for my friends and its pretty much the same thing with them. Could it be the actual flavoring causing this or could it be the nicotine. I am leaning towards the flavor cause I also mix other flavors for people with the same nicotine and have had no problems reported to me.

I had this exact same problem using MFS nic base. Almost exact same story as you. I thought maybe it was the flavoring, or possibly a PG or VG allergy but, in the end, I determined it was the nic base. I've been using WL, XTreme Vaping and RTS all with no problems .. but both of the bottles of MFS nic base I have give me burning, sore mouth and even to blisters if I keep using it.

Hi,

I had the same problem but not with this flavour, with random juices. Blisters all over inside of my mouth. Had this twice and only the third time i realised that the JUICE was getting into my mouth thru the drip tip, and the only logical conclusion was that 18mg nicotine has done that.

So, luquid nicotine is dangerous!!

I have had this happen with one specific brick and mortar eliquid stinks cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE their customer service and their flavors. I need to go by and talk to them as I have tons of flavors from different B&Ms and have finallyh figured out it is just when I vape their sour flavors. I means red rashy blisters towards tonsils and top of mouth but they go away within a day or 2. Drink LOTS and LOTS of COLD liquids water, non citrus fruit juice etc., it makes it feel better.
