So I decided to try Virgin Vapor as recommended by a few friends. So I went on their site and ordered Banana Nut 100% VG with 12mg nic. It came very fast in the mail and was excited to try it. So I did a fresh rebuild on my IGO-L, dripped some on and when I took my first hit....I almost threw up. The taste was absolutely unbearable, it had a harsh taste that made the inside of my throat hurt (not like a throat hit), and didn't even have a hint of the taste it should have been. Prior to this I've only ever used 50/50 on my PG/VG mix, and have been using 12mg nic levels for a while, so this was my first time trying 100% VG liquid. My question is did I get the bad luck of the draw and get a bad mix? Or were my expectations for 100% VG too high? Either way it definitely did not taste right. Does anyone have any input on Virgin Vapor and if they were good or bad experiences? I wouldn't mind giving them another try but only if I wouldn't be wasting my time.

Thanks!

So Cal
I've ordered from Virgin Vapor quite a bit. I have done their 100% VG liquids, but nowadays I prefer their 50/50 liquids. Their liquids, like many others, benefit from a bit of steeping. Some of their flavors I find a bit harsh right out of mail even though flavor is good, but a day or two with cap off will mellow this.

I think their fruit flavors can't be beat. I really like Original Sin (apple) and Plum Crazy. On the other hand the 'Kona' flavors which seem really popular seem a little too strong for me to vape. Cheers!

I find ejuice to be so personal and the taste so unpredictable to describe that I cannot rely on anyone's recommendation.

I always prefer local vape shops so I can try before I buy.

Steeping can help, but I've never had it turn coal into diamonds.

Yeah I've been sticking to my local vape shop, their juices have always been top notch for me, I just wanted to try something new
