So, what is the best way to prime the 1.2 ohm cotton coils? I seem to be able to get a fair bit in there, can I just go bananas? Will it flood?
I would think it would be the same as the 1.5 coils, no? I just put a couple of drops in the side holes of the head and then do a couple priming puffs and I'm good to go.

Got my first Gs Air-M and love the little blighter. I was a kanger emow mega man before but they have now been retired. I also use an iJust 2 for sub ohm which I love but the Gs Air-M is fast becoming my go to tank
Just wanted to say hi to all the air heads out their.
Does any one know as I haven;t been able to get any yet if the new 1.2 ohm vertical coils are the same as the 1.5 ohm dual coils where the outer case comes off as it makes it easier to re-build ??

Welcome to the asylum. To answer your question, I took a 1.2 ohm coil from the dead core box and—with much effort—took it apart. Nothing like the 1.5s. The thing on the upper left is, far as I can tell, a single piece.
When the cap came off, I stared at what reminded me of the insides of a cigalike cartomizer. No wonder the 1.2s gurgle and flood.

Reason I asked is because I re-build the 1.5 to a 1.2 horizontal single which is easy but I do like vertical coils (I used to do this with the kanger coils). I tried a vertical in the 1.5 cup but it was not brilliant so I was hoping to get some 1.2 vertical's and re-build myself.
Looking at your picture it looks like it is doable.

If you are undaunted by the prospect of cramming that much wicking material into the 1.2 shell...

Pros-- Airy vape, in the general direction of a CheechOcoil. Fits the GS-*
Cons- Doesn't last nearly so long as the 1.5 ohm coil, gets saturated, oversaturated, gurgly, and ... into the core box it goes, a week or two sooner than the 1.5.

I think I'll stick to the KISS principle...you have saved me from wandering into the 1.2 pasture and stepping in
a pile. I've built several vertical coils in the 1.5's with both rayon and cotton, not my cup of tea.
