Yeah Cheechako they do seem to be up there on the Scale Compared to the GS Air or even the GS-Tank TC Coils. There are Sales and Across the Hall Prices as well and you can compare their prices to like product from Kanger or Aspire!
But the Main Factor is what kind of Vape Experience are You Having with Any Device? Since I received My SMOK Products what 4 weeks ago now I have 3 TFV4 tanks 2 Mini's and 1 Standard going with My ADV's in them. All 3 still on the Original Coils that came in them. All 3 Going Strong with Incredible Taste and Vape!
I just switched Mods on all 3 today to the same Mod the iStick 40 TC just to see how well they will do on the iStick 40's TC Platform? So Far So Good! It always comes down to How Pleasurable the Experience is!
There are other Factors to Weigh in like How much eliquid they Hold and Convenience of Filling! With the Standard TFV4 you can't complain How Much Liquid They Hold and Top Filling is Sure a Good Way to go!
Weighing All of it in So Far the TFV4's are Pretty Fantastic tanks!

RIght. Can they be adapted for MTL vaping? That's always my main complaint--all those great new tanks are designed with cloud chasers in mind; I don't want clouds and I don't want to have to go up to 60 watts to get a decent flavor... Sextuple coil head?
Bought some precision screwdrivers today, so am currently 'rocking' the kayfun lite plus with my first build.
Cheated a bit as a couple of prebuilt colts I ordered arrived. Not too inch of an issue getting the coil centred and connected to the pins.
First off tried wicking with 2mm ekowool doubled up, coil is 3mm diameter, not a hope! Pondered just a single run, but realised it would be too loose.
Next up the cellucotton (100% rayon). Got it wicked ok. Vape was low vapour and not improving. Too much play, not a thick enough wick. Good flavour on first few hits which quickly went.
Out with the kayfil tool (I have been shopping...). Managed not to flood the house with e-juice. Wick had signs of burning.
Did my first dry burn whilst realigning the coil.
rewicked with cellucotton. Similar or vape. This time it was too thick, removing it put the coil all outta shape.
So though let's try the cotton bacon v2. Think I got the thickness right this time, maybe just a tad thick.
vape is much better. Can taste the juice. On a 1.7 coil, was 1.8 when I first installed.Reasonable vapour at 8.5 watts, just trying 10 watts now.
Have to say less vapour than the Gs tank though, mind you I run that at 14 watts with 1.2 coils currently.
Some throat hit on this thing. Less flavour for now than than the gs - i suspect and hope that is down to my inexperience/ current level of incompetence with coiling and wicking.
One of the final coils didn't burn red (though heat goes from centre outwards) when testing coil before installing wick, the leg from final coil leg to screw got bent during lifting off deck, kanthal has a kink in it, as a result this coil is taller than others.
Getting better at 10 watts, more vapour and flavoir. Not sure if I can push a 1.8 in this as high as on a Nautilus, it is a horizontal and not a vertical coil.
Thing is built like a Russian or German tank, heavy and solid. Airflow screw a pain but I will likely leave it fully open? Actually like the screw for filling and can get to deck and refill via kayfil tool.
So gs still rules but for how long?
Oh finally the vape has a slight watery quality too it, I know the juice very well and this is not there usually. Odd.

Hey Katya: "What do you mean Adapted?" I MTL all the Time! I'm a Mostly MTL Vaper just like when I smoked! Designed for Cloud Chasers? So Far From the Truth! You Want Huge Clouds You Still Have to Go Dripping Style! Sure these New Tanks will Give You Big Clouds if You Want but These New Tanks & Coils are Designed For Great Taste and Fantastic Vape!
Well with some Coils You Will have to Turn it up for them to Work Properly! Depending on the Tank, Coil and Liquid all depends what Temp and Wattage I run! For instance on My TFV4 Standard with Quad Clapton Coils I'm Running 410 degrees at 30 to 40 watts depending on time of day what my throat can handle. That's all MTL!
If I want to make a Few Big Clouds I will Turn up the Wattage for Big Lung Hits and Yes it will Blow Some impressive Clouds! Nothing like that Clown on YouTube that Screams and Acts All Weird you know the one that builds other folks coils for demos, Nothing like his but that's Not My Goal anyway! Taste and Vapor is what I want!
Hell I can Blow Decent Clouds with My GS-Tanks in TC Mode! You have GS-Tanks? Do You Run em in TC Mode? If you do, think of the TFV4 as it's Grand Dad! Been around a while does everything a bit better! I just switched Mods on My TFV4 Tanks the 3 are all on iStick 40's now. Want to know how they do in TC mode on the Sticks! So Far So Good!

Hey LVM and All: This is my New Grandson Jackson! He was Born 2 weeks ago Saturday at 12:11 am. Mom and Son had some difficulties. Jackson went to NICU and Jaclyn had to stay extra days in Hospital. Jackson spent 5 days in NICU. But all is Good Now and everyone is Home!
