We have snow covered grass in the Afternoon, for the first time this Winter! Way less than an inch though. Down to me second to last prebuilt coils in both my GS-tank and Ego One Mega, going to have to pull the trigger on rebuilding supplies pretty soon now. Hope the rebuilt GS coil tastes as good as the one in there right now! For such an inexpensive tank it out performs the Ego One Mega, which tastes thin and flavorless by comparison! Wouldn't even bother, but the Ego One Mega CLR coils are made to be rebuilt, and I am not sure how well me and my old eyes are going to do on rebuilding the GS-Air Coils, since they are a bit smaller in diameter, and never made to be rebuilt in the first place! Would never even think of attempting it if it was for Cheechako's instructional!

In my opinion, they taste much better. The duals tend to get too hot for me also. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be and I thought the same until I tried it and it's not as difficult as you may think. If worse comes to worse, maybe grab a desktop magnifier. :)

I think they beat the heck out of the stock coils, I get a much better flavor from the rewicked rayon.
As far as old eyes go, if I can do it, you can. I have to use the old ego top attached to a board with an old T3 base to stabilize the coil
while I rebuild. I also depend on a lighted magnifying glass to see what I'm doing half the time. It is well worth the effort to redo these
little wonder tanks. In order to get a feeling for what you'll be working with, break one down and see...nothing like throwing your hat over the fence! :w00t:
Also, a lot of folks here to hold your hand through it!

Brighter light maybe. I don't want to be insulted again. I have a lighted magnifier and have never used it.
I think that does make a difference, I put an extra lamp on my desk just for recoiling.
Lighted magnifying glass and a lamp...sheesh! Might get a tan!
If I insulted you Lynn, I apologize. Obviously, your hands and eyes are in much better shape than mine!

@IMRs and @Cheechako Im older than both of you and I only use the overhead light in my living room!:lol::lol::lol::lol:
A few years ago it would have been no problem as I was near-sighted as all get out, and would only have had to take my glasses off to do that fiddly work, but since cataract lens replacement on both eyes, I am now far-sighted and close lenses on my glass are now the limiting factor. going to be 71 years old next month! I bit the bullet and ordered the supplies I need for sub ohm builds for both the GS coils and the ego one mega CLR coils, I'll just have to keep buying the Aspire BVC clearo coils, as they are impossible to rebuild as far as I can see!

Cheech, if you could see my right hand I think you'd be surprised. Even with the arthritis knots at each joint on that hand I think I still have surprising mobility with it. As far as eyesight, I wear trifocals and have since I was 40.
That is a testament to your abilities! I know you have done a ton of coils and should be a lesson to us.
