That's the second time I've seen this today. Why oh why is it making the virtual rounds? :p

Yes my name is in the list it but I don't think I'm overly. In my part of the world they call us charming!
I prefer the term "unique". :D

Uh-Oh, I am on the crazy list - just a slightly different spelling.
Oh well, not really a surprise. I've been called uniquely charming and a few other things. It's all in how you look at it, I guess.

Yes I have looked at cheech's blog and Lynn's instructions too. Even though I have small hands I have never been good with small stuff.Of course age hasn't helped the eyesight either and yes I do have a mag light but that doesn't help either. The hands won't comply.

I'm having problems also, but mine is a bit different! I've been able to rebuild an Aspire BVC clearomizer coil, the one for the K1 Tank, so I know I could do the GS Air coil, if I could just get it apart without ruining it!! I don't have the tools that Cheechako uses, Just the GS-Tank base and a bunch of different pliers. I keep having the pressed in top of the outer case pop out! Tried again, and discovered the the TC coil is built different than the GS-Air coil. There is no inner case! Nuts, though I guess I can buy The 1.2 ohm dual coils and rebuild them as a single horizontal TC coil when they die!

OK , so you're sayin the GS TC coil must be VERTICAL then (I never had one)

so if what you're saying is correct, buy some GS coils that are not TC
and just salvage the carcass for a sacrificial build with TC wire of your choice...

once you find the coil body you want, buy a small supply and you're good to go - long term :D (Bob's your uncle)
sounds like you pretty much had it figured out

    good luck, let us know

    ;)

Anyone know the best place to buy GS air coils? The Aspire K1 coil I rebuilt with .4mm Titanium works and tastes so much better than the original it isn't funny! I even forgot to keep track of how much juice was left and vaped it till it was empty, and it just quit firing with no dry hits! Sub ohm TC mode is just so much better! Hate to say I seem to have wasted my money on my iStick 20W, but the K1s do mouth to lung so much better in TC. Once I get my hands on some of the Air coils I'll keep you all informed of how I am doing with them!

Fran, I have to roll the point on the rayon or oc if I'm using it into a very very small point to make it go through those little coils. I've reached a point lately that I'd rather rewick my SubTank mini OCC coil heads because those coils are 3mm so much bigger and easier on my hands.
