I like the way the SX Mini performs in TC better because it's PWM. Not that much better, especially 170 bucks better.

But compared to the
VaporShark and Evic, it's equal and even better because of the size. It reaches the preset temp with 40w instantly then drops to 18w, 12w, 17w etc. to maintain it depending on how you draw air through it. The Evic would just go instantly to temp protection then back on, which in my opinion is cutting the power completely off. The TC40, if not drawing on it, will reach temp with 40w then drop to maybe 18, 14, 12, and
then temp protect if no air is flowing, which makes me think that is a more appropriate and better action for a chip to produce for temp control. The SX Mini shows temperature and
steady power. If drawing on it, the temp stays constant around the preset. If you fire it without drawing the temp drops to around half the preset and doesn't go into temp protect. It just pulses the power slower to prevent overheating the coil. It will only show temp protect and cut off with a dry atomizer display when the wick dries out completely. The TC40 is much simpler to use than any of them and much cheaper so it is my choice because it still does the same job. I still get 6 to 8 hours on a charge with a twisted .06 ohm build in an ST Mini but that would probably be more with a higher ohm single wire coil. I also chain vape more than not. In the case of TC mods, more money will only get you more battery life
