We have all kinds of pieces of lumber around here. I have a drill and I have glue and I have Kanger bases. What I lack is desire. I have no desire whatsoever to haul out hubs heavy chopsaw to cut off one little piece of wood.

Next time you drift over to the coast here, you can borrow the Husky or the Stihl.
You can cut a little piece of sapient pearwood in the back field, and be good to go.
Or...you can join the GS-PIFfers club and we can all sit on rockers on the front porch and re-wick ego one Megas. With one hand tied behind our backs, blindfolded.

Before last week, my re-wicking and re-coiling experience was close to nil. Now, with the clr coils, I re-wick every couple days, just because it's so easy (and because that monster box of Sally's rayon will last me and my sons, and their progeny, a few lifetimes. Tried coil building for the first time a few days ago. Dead easy with the CLRs.
Have done both kanthal and Ti, and both were easy and vape nicely. No need for any kind of base, either. The top cap of the coil unscrews. This old dawg is having fun learning new tricks.

How come not with the minis?I wound up ordering 2 eGo V2's from HG this afternoon after finding out that I can't use the CLR coils with my minis.Even with shipping it was cheaper than ordering from FT and a helluva lot cheaper than eBay.

Hmmmm....I was going by the size of the CLR coil and the opening in the eGo mini. But I didn't actually "try" it. I am now though!
