Maybe GS's are better!? Haven't tried one yet, but someday.
If you bought a commercial tank and didn't have the time or technique for priming the carto, then yes, you can have a bad experience.
A commercial tank as opposed to what?

My recent order of Tiramisu from vape Wild was too strong in nicotine. It took 5 minutes on their chat line to get a confirmation email for a replacement:

Hi LVM. Many here like Phineas, some like IBTanked. Lots of colors and designs.

I'm utilitarian, I'm using a plain, side- fill grommet tank from MomnPops vapor shop for the last 3 years.
Hi r77...
My question, though, is why do you use that setup in particular? Is the performance good? Good flavor? Vapor production? Do they last for a while?

Please explain to me, because I am really confused as to why someone would use this setup? I tried a tank carto not too long ago and had horrible results. I don't know. Maybe I did something wrong or bought one that wasn't the best. It just seemed to me that filling and refilling was a huge hassle; especially when compared to using something like the GSAs and all of their relatives.
Having used both carto tanks (for 3.5 years) and the GS Air tanks (a few months) I will say that the GSAs are a bit easier to deal with...especially with the first fill. With carto tanks it is imperative that one primes the carto and tank when first filling...can't skip any steps there, ever. Once you do get your carto primed on the first fill...then it's just about as easy to carry on as the GSAs (essentially the same in "steps") and the cartos can last an extremely long time with care.

Only reason I had to give up carto tanks was because the quality of the cartos had gone down, and they were flaking out on me (as in flat, dull taste) much too quick. Wasn't cost effective to continue using them when they were charging around $10 for 5. So, I switched to the GSA 1.5 original coils ...and it's worked out fine. If I thought I could rely on getting GOOD cartos again, I'd certainly go back to using them. At least some of the time.

Thanks for clearing that up for me! Maybe when I bought mine, I didn't fill/prime it right the first time.

It's very inexpensive and just works.

Works for me. Some clearo users say they get more flavor this way, but I vape flavorless :)

I used to get 4-5 weeks from them, but now only 1 or 2 weeks. That's still quite cost effective @$1 or less per carto.

I just never had any bad issues with them, so I never had a reason to upgrade. Since I discovered a new priming technique ( in my blog) it's been even better.

Okay, thanks for that! I'm pretty content with my setup right now, and I can afford it so I'm of the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mindset. I don't want to waste time and money going through yet another trial and error process.
