Darn! rebuilt 9 GS TC coil last night. two of the little insulators tore, so that's two coils down! then got too energetic seating one of the manhole covers and dish shaped it, so it's trash! Then I don't know what I was thinking, and installed one of the new coils in the GS-tank to try it out and it was leaking and gurgley as all get out, couldn't figure out what was up tried all the tricks to get it to stop, nothing worked!! Took it back out and found out I had never put the manhole cover back in place! Whew! fixed that and it is vaping perfectly. 9 wraps of 26Ga Titanium wire in a 2mm coil for .30 ohm gives a prefect Mtl hit at 450F, and nice warm vape at 470F on my istick 40W TC. This keeps up I may have to break down and BUY some new coils! Hate to do that since the rebuilds just works and taste so much better!

I gut the stock GS Air coils and recoil them without using them 'cause recoils are so much better.
That dang manhole cover is a bastich to put back in place...

Put the coil in the base, place the manhole cover in it's place and then tap with "Small" hammer lightly a couple of times! I tried a pair of channel locks to squeeze the one into place and that is how I ruined it! Luckily? I had already had 2 insulators rip in half, so no big lose! I finally figured out how to use the coilmaster the right way, so it wraps a tight even coil without putting the wraps one on top of the other! Duh!

It might make for a better thumb-sucking experience.

I will get around to recoiling them someday I suppose. But with about 20 new coils I am set for a couple of years it would seem. Had one box and bought 3 more at the 777 sale for $4 something a box.

If anyone wants an Istick Basic kit Vaporbeast has them for 22.97 and if you use CC MADNESS you get 16% off of that. Heck of a deal.

I finally had to give my .75 coil last rites...I think I ran the tank dry one too many times.
One of the faults for me with the istick basic, I lose track of juice level, also doesn't help that I'm lazy. :D
yeah that is what happened to my first .75 coil. But I still got 4 weeks or so out of it. I am around 5 or 6 weeks on this one. Vape at least 8 ml per day thru it sometimes 12 ml.
the tank is so easy to pop out of there and check the level and you can see it pretty well thru the slots in the mod too.

I am fighting buying another Istick basic for that price at Vaporbeast but I already have 2...

I have vaped quite a few tanks dry and they were sitting in plain site on top of my mod so I know what will happen when it's not sitting in plain site.

With that said, I'd like to interject...I absolutely LOVE my Pico! This is the first in the ELeaf series that I actually want to purchase ALL the colors! :)
