Don't know if it was just a thing with the early batch of GS Air 2s - the ones where you screw the screw in to adjust the airflow - but I read a lot about this not working or making any difference.
I have to say I have played about with this using the little screwdriver, which you get for glasses and which lives permanently on my keyring, and I do find it makes a difference.
I run mine with the screw about half way in and to me this with a GS Air 2 on an istick set at 8 watts gives a grand vape.
You are lucky you have a less powerful tobacco industry in he UK than we have in the US! They are petty much doing everything they can to either kill, or get complete control of ecigarettes and or the production of ejuice!I've heard they are trying to get legislation passed that would put everyone put the Big companies out of business through regulations and fees to be able to handle nicotine!A bit of sanity to start the day.
"Best way to quit?
Sales of e-cigarettes have been rising steadily since the first went on sale in 2007 in the UK.
Since 2012, they have replaced nicotine patches and gum to become the most popular choice of smoking cessation aid in England.
Around one in 20 adults in England uses e-cigarettes, and nearly all of these are ex-smokers or current smokers who are trying to cut down or quit.
E-cigarettes have remained controversial and this year ministers in Wales attempted to ban them from public places.
The Royal College of Physicians says smokers who use e-cigarettes or prescribed medications - with support from their doctor - are more likely to quit permanently. "

yeah me neither.Don't think I'd ever buy a tank that uses a silicone band to control airflow, but that's just me.

We are not all the same???
We're definitely all different here, @Falconeer ! I wouldn't have it any other way - the alternative is quite boring, no? There's plenty of room for everyone's opinion. And with these confusing tank names and styles Eleaf is putting out, it sounds like there will be something for everyone.Ditto! I actually thought my comment about everyone being different (in their tastes/preferences) was pretty inclusive and non controversial...perhaps even self evident...but somehow it didn't seem to strike you the same way???
Perhaps I am reading your comment wrong?
Personally I thought we were talking about preferences in the different models of GS Air Tanks with two folk not preferring the model with the silicone or rubber ring.
My original comment referred to my preference for the model with the external removable ring...but as I didn't come here for an argument I added my final comment about everyone being different.
