I wound around a 2.5 coil winder. 7 wraps of 28 gauge (one the last 2) They came out as 1.4 and 1.6. I using one of my coils now and it works great.

One to two layers of non-woven gauze, depending on your juice. It was a bit of a pain holding the gauze
while replacing the cap. @pufZeppelin mentioned mesh being used in another coil similar to the GS Air
coils.
I like the mesh, stays in and reuse over and over! Success tastes mighty sweet don't it?

The gauze is a pain. With the mesh in the cap it doesn't want to go over the gauze wrapped around the coil very well.

If you are using mesh, you shouldn't even have to use gauze. The mesh replaces the gauze.

How is it vaping, Frannie? You coil builders are heroes to me. Every time I think I am going to have to break down and give it my best shot, I just open another pack of my pre-builts and I am good for another couple of months. I'm a procrastinator!

30 or 29 (whatever I happen to grab) gauge kanthal, 6 wraps, rayon wick, mesh liner...
Ohms come out anywhere from 1.4 to 1.6. I'm not very .... about getting it exact.
Actually, I'm a lazy coiler.
You should be happy!

I have almost all coil gauges from 32 to 26. Guess I'll grab some more 29 and 30. I don't care about exact either.

Any place to get a small amount of rayon wick. I don't want 3lbs of it.

Nope, you must get the humongous box like the rest of us and learn to build rayon snowmen and sheep
for arts and crafts.

Fran, I don't see much difference in the 29 or 30 and I use both. If you never had rayon before, you're in for a real treat! The stuff lasts a good long time and doesn't burn like cotton tends to.

It's very nice of Cheech to send you some over. Now he will only have around 32 years worth of rayon left in his rebuild kit.
