Alrighty! BLIND taste test!

Testing Conditions: 2 GS Air M tanks (purchased from SV)
2 identical drip tips. For this test, I am using the GS Air (regular) tips.
2 identical Innokin vv3. Both turned off and on to reset puff count. Both at full charge. Both set at 9.5 watts.
Both tanks were primed and warmed up on my iStick before switching over.
One GS Air coil (purchased from SV), one rebuilt by me, myself, and I.

I removed my thread covers (because they're different). Switched them around. Put them in the other room. Poured a glass of iced tea. I will now go retrieve them.

Not gonna work. I can tell. I had the rebuilt in my left hand. The draw is a lot looser with the single coil. Effortless. And the flavor pops. The one in my right takes more effort to draw and the flavor feels like it goes through a filter before I taste it, if that makes any sense.

But, gonna confirm...1.3, left: 1.5, right.

So, yeah, the flavor is better Nanny:thumbs:

Gratz on your rebuilt!!! :) And thanks for the thorough testing on a stock vs rebuilt coil.
Cheers

Well it will be a while yet before my M arrives.

You have to like it when a poor underpaid postal worker puts your package on the wrong truck... :glare:

Hopefully in this case the catch is better than the chase.

I can't believe all of the stuff I accumulated and I can't find anything close to the belly button poker.

I think the easiest thing to do is to 1) get one open and 2) find something that will fit in the slot. At least, that was my first step this morning.

As long as it doesn't fit in my nose, it'll probably work?
Yep, I thought of that, but I'm envious of the pretty purple one that Cheech was showing off.

Does a 1/16" drill bit (1.59mm) not fit? 16G is 1.29mm; only a difference of .3mm.

If what you mentioned was the outer part of the bit, that'll work just fine.

You can also try taking a needle file to the notches on the head and open them up to 2.4mm or so and wrap around a 3/32" bit. That's what I do for my Kanger heads.

I was planning on using my 1/16 drill bit - hoping that will work out, I have lost track on all the posts up there ^^^^^^^.
It worked out fine for me when I dripped, (those two weeks last year that I call the "dark days"). I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a hot needle than go there again. Or a belly button poker!
