I'm having a hard time getting my 1st coil to 20ml... can't put down my K4

Sorry, my math is a bit off. I refilled my first tank 8 times, but the tanks can't be filled all the way to capacity, and I never let it go empty, so it's actually substantially less than 20 ml. Hmm... 1.5 ml per refill? Times eight? A little more than 12 ml? 13?

What's K4?

And less 'wooshing'. I'll wait until you fine folks review the new airs to see. (said knowing the buy button will be going 'clicky' anyway ha)

Yes, it's a noisy little sucker. :D

pull a lot of the cotton off a q-tip, stick it up the center and fill above the center tube for a more complete refill!
the coil head will push the q-tip out as you screw it all together, just make sure to take the q-tip out before totally sealing the tank or else get some stuck cotton. (ask me how I know..)

there was a video floating around of filling Kanger tanks this way..
this one!

This one, pehaps? ;)

Here's a nice little trick for filling Kanger tanks (they have the same problem) to capacity; the guy is a bit long winded, so you may safely skip the first 4 minutes of the video, but the solution is brilliant! It works for Kanger tanks--I'm sure it can be applied to the GS Air:

Kat I spend like crazy on this stuff and still come out in the black, but I did smoke WAY too much 2.2 PAD @ $4.50 a pack really adds up! :)

Only 4 fiddy? Don't move to NYC, mud. ;)

Yup, that's it Kat. Sorry.. thought I posted it too. Sleep cycle is off :/

"sleep"? Supps, that's almost a four letter word! :D (understand sleep cycle being off.... I live that)

No worries ..... I tend to think the center tube and the cross piece at the bottom holding the center tube might be stainless. So even DV might be telling a partial truth. Some of the material might be stainless. But the base of the tank is definitely chromed brass. If I had skills to post pics, I would do so. But , I scratched mine with a knife to verify.

IMHO, B2T, I know I have no idea what might be stainless or not, but from my experience of DV, they do tell the truth, to the best of their knowledge - consistently, and have for many years. I've always known DV to be a solid and dependable vendor. The best part is that they are always available for questions. :)

Agreed. I've used DV a number of times. Always had a good experience. Parts of this tank could be stainless....I suspect the inner center tube and the cross piece on the bottom might be.

But the price at "Discount" Vapers is not discounted at all. It's 11.99 on that site.

Anyone notice the difference in the top on the tank at FT? Makes me wonder if it's authentic. Or is it an upgrade?

$8.65 Authentic Eleaf GS Air Bottom Coil Clearomizer - 2.5ml / 1.5ohm / silver + translucent at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Yeah, it's the GS16 tank top, so I guess you could call it a hybrid.

Yeah, I put those together. Or are you asking about the glass? That knurled part at the top is strictly aesthetic. It has a smaller bore on the drip tip, and a bit more volume than the GS Air tank.

Is the top removable from the glass? Did you get yours at FT?

No, and No. I put the two pieces together to show the similarity of the one on FT.

Hmm. I got my GS-Air from Fasttech, and it has "eleaf" and "gs air" etched where yours says "GS16". It came in eleaf packaging with eleaf instructions. The sku was 2034201. Works perfectly. :)

Yes, I was just showing the comparison of the two tanks blended in my pic and the resemblance to the FT GS Air.

Sorry for the confusion all, it was just a visual comparison.
