Agreed. I've used DV a number of times. Always had a good experience. Parts of this tank could be stainless....I suspect the inner center tube and the cross piece on the bottom might be.
You might use a small magnet to check to see if it is stainless but it all looks chromed to me except for maybe the chimney (which also would be difficult to chrome). The most commonly used stainless steel (304) is non-magnetic. But SS is iron based and some stainless products are somewhat magnetic. But brass also is non magnetic, so a magnet test would only prove it would probably be chromed steel if the magnet stuck. Chrome's magnetism depends on temperature. I don't really care as long as it lasts, but it is interesting that they say it is made with stainless steel material.

No, and No. I put the two pieces together to show the similarity of the one on FT.

Yes, I was just showing the comparison of the two tanks blended in my pic and the resemblance to the FT GS Air.

Sorry for the confusion all, it was just a visual comparison.

Gotcha! Thanks.
So you have a GS16 then? That one good too? Hold more juice?

I think I prefer the chrome over stainless since it matches the isticks. I would rather them have ss caps because of fingerprints but it don't really matter. I like the Airs so much, I'm thinkin of changing my whole vape style. I'm tired of foggin up the house, coilin and wickin attys, and foolin with batteries. I've discovered what I really like is a light weight easy to use rig that only has moderate flavor and cloud. Just like what the Air and stick 30 provide. :)

Edit: It's like I enjoy eatin but I don't want to eat a whole smoked brisket everyday. I'm perfect with just the three normal well prepared meals. I've been way over-indulging :2c::laugh:

I'm with you there. Since I've gotten my iStick 20 and found the GSA, I think I'm set and will probably stick with this setup for a while. I don't care to have crazy amounts of vapor, and never understood that. I just want decent flavor, a good TH and normal "smoking-like" vapor. This gives me all three. My juices taste completely different in these tanks, and definitely for the better!

Mine is not removable....I didn't buy it at FT....I forget where I bought them, but I do remember they were only about 8 bucks each, which is why I bought a slew of them.

Do you have the GSA or the GS16? I'm trying to determine if there is a difference.

You're welcome. Yes I have a couple of GS16 and it's little brother the GS16S, they are good tanks, just no AFC on them and different coils, they use a push in coil with a tube that goes in the chimney.

The GS16 does have a bit more volume because the tank itself is a bit taller.

Here's a pic of the three of them side by side, my GS16's and GS16S's have the eGo skirt but the 510 bases also use that same coil.

The GS16 coil falls more in line with the eleaf iJust series. Makes me wonder if eleaf is going to discontinue the GS Air as you can't get one, nor the coils, on the US site. :/

Okay, thanks. You made up my mind for me. I will stick with my GSA. I like having the AFC option.
Plus I don't want another coil to deal with.

So the FT GSA takes the same coils as the "actual" GSA?

Well - the Fasttech GS-Air does have an air flow control screw. It takes GS-Air coils. That must be because the base is a GS-Air base. The top bit does indeed look like the G16S. The coil looks like the one shown on the left in Ricky Spanish's picture.

Yes it does. And after look over the Main site for eleaf, they just brought the GS Air out at the end of Nov, so that may be why the US site doesn't list them yet. I'm hoping that is the case.

Either way, I still have to have 2 eleaf coil sets.. I love my iJust tanks!!!!

That FT GS Air is a whole new breed if it comes apart like that, good pics! :thumb:

None of mine come apart like that unless you know a trick for separating them?

The top on the GS Air does unscrew from the "pipe" but eLeaf put some kind of adhesive or silicon sealant on the threads.
Does the bases switch from one unit to another, that is to say, does the GS16 fit the GS Air bottom?
