I found your tutorials to be very helpful and I know that we'll be referring new converts to them for a long time! :toast:

I think I did it! Thank you!:toast:

I give about half of what I buy away to others to help them stop SMOKING.....:)

I'm still using the same coil in a air-tank I installed weeks ago....they last a LONG time the fashion I vape these attys.

Now the Kangers are another story.......:p
Inspects, I haven't said it yet but I was very impressed by your generosity the first time I heard about it. Most people I know that are financially stable are not so generous. :toast: But about the Kangers......another story. To me it sounds unbelievable because I've had so much trouble with Kangers of all types, BUT my wife has a T3Ss that is goin on 15 months old now that has the original coil head in it. It still wicks great with the same flavor and cloud as a new one. It has never flooded, she has never dry hit it because she has always filled it at 1/3 empty. In fact she doesn't know what a dry hit is like! Another thing is it has always had an Apple menthol in it at 50/50 and nothing else. This has led me to believe that if I quit swappin juices, then my coils will last a lot longer or keep their flavor longer. I switched flavors yesterday in a good performing GSA. I vaped the Berry flavor down to just wick saturation and then put Tiramisu in and nothing. I thought it would just sorta "berry" flavor the Tiramisu for a while but it just muted the flavors considerably. It's like the juices mixin just countered their flavors. I've had that result in my diy before. I changed the coil out. Are you still usin the same juice in that GSA that you've had the coil in for weeks?

Thank you, maybe we can get some better ones when folks here start rebuilding!

I doubt it. You did a professional build. And you are the original builder, did the research, trial and error, and found the right materials.. I hadn't thought about re-building one until I saw you do it. I thought you would destroy it tryin to pull it apart. Thanks :)

Certain things I shouldn't do, don't dry burn the coil like I did in the video, it will burn the gasket.
How many wraps of liner? one, two or will it make a difference?
Line up two of the external holes of the cap with the internal holes of the coil? will this aid wicking?
So many things to try out...get started building and help me figure this out!

The only reason I rebuild them is I hate silica wicks and prefer Rayon...

Once again, this is why I don't rebuild.

As soon as I get my liner material, I'm gonna jump right on it, maybe sooner. You're the expert right now. Sounds like you need to experiment with your own questions.:)... I prefer rayon too and I can see that you can make this coil perform better than stock, which is my primary reason for wantin to rebuild them. Plus I like to tinker with stuff. :)

By the time the collective hive of GS rebuilders figures out all the nuances, you'll be rebuilding!
You don't have to eat the diet cookies, they are there for the evil effect!
Part of the problem is that I would literally have to go out and get everything in that video. The wire cutters, the wire, the needle... everything, with the exception of the rayon, which one generous member has so kindly offered to donate. ;)
In case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly the type of gal who just has that stuff lying around the house.

Edited because of redundancy.

Just keep the old coils in a bucket, someone will rebuild them...
Did you check your purse for those things? Purses seem to hold everything...

I'm not exactly that type of gal, either, but I am fast becoming one.:D I had some wire cutters laying around from a jewelry-making attempt from a few years ago. My mom's hairdresser just hooked me up with massive amounts of cellucotton for free! Only a few more things to go...
