...Like you and quite a few others on this thread I too have been anxiously waiting on the release of the GS Air M & MS tanks. However, based on the information I received from ismoka/eleaf direct, I think we have all been waiting in vain for any ‘official’ release to take place....

Bummer to hear about the GS-MS not currently slated for production.
Thanks for the info!

Finally changed the coil in my Air.
Maybe 20ml over 1.5 months - ha!
Shows how little I get around to using it *eeeeps*.

Was interesting to see it had the 'old' style coil in there.
Popped in a 'new' style - with the knurled top - from the 5-pack from Sweet Vapes.
All seems the same and all is well - no issues with the different chimney lengths.

Golly though!
Ya'll must have elf fingers to be rebuilding these!
Took apart the old coil. Not the easiest to get it apart the first go.
The space is small and the liner doesn't look to be the easiest thing to replace.

Glad ya'll are having success at it though.
Half the battle of rebuilding is getting the tools/materials.
Then is just takes a little bit of practice winding.

So... now that some have gotten to that point, time to apply it elsewhere?
Those that haven't tried a RTA now have the 'tools' to easily make that step.
Subtank mini, Lemo Drop, Kayfun etc. (Erlk!)
If you can rebuild these GS Airs, the others will seems easy-peasy.
And the benefits can be numerous.
It IS worth trying the 'step-up' to an RTA IMO.

I admit it, I am a tootle puffer!
I can't get the satisfaction out of my Russian, Fogger nor dripper that I do from my Air.
My man card has been revoked! and I drive a Kia Soul...

As a matter of fact, I bought a couple of ErlK clones from Angel cigs a while back and just haven't had time to devote to learning how to wick them properly. That seems to be more of the challenge with RBA's, more so than just wrapping a coil. That's the easy part. I've read a lot of the ErlK and Lemo threads and that's what people are having the problems with the most. But on the plus side, there are a lot of good pictures of builds so I have something to refer to. I imagine I'll be doing this before much longer. (Tonight I drilled out the rest of my stock of t3s clearos and wrapped some more 1.2 ohm coils. I'm getting a kick out of vaping those old things at 9 watts. That would have burned the old wicks to a crisp without all the extra air! :D

I took my first Fasttech plunge - for an order for a 10 pack of GSA coils.
Wish me luck.
Will probably be a lonnnnng time before I see them.

I know others moan and groan about FT's shipping times, but I've never had an order from them take more than 10 days. You do have to pay attention to when they say an item will be ready to ship. I don't think they always keep everything in stock.

I just got a few minutes so I rebuilt a coil. It's wicking great with rayon and an original wrapper piece. 28g with 6 or 7 wraps on 2mm = 1.0 ohm. I think it has better flavor and performance over the stock BDC. Easy to build but I can see havin a problem with the wrap and cap part.:)

Yea! :toast: I'm hoping someone comes up with a "trick" or something for the liner wrap...there must be some way that is easy.
It's not a deal breaker, I just haven't got the light bulb to come on over my head and go "Eureka!" (of course, it burned out long ago)
I was surprised that turning these into larger protank coils would perform so well, but they do.
