Nice trick! Does it only work to Mozart?
try Offenbach - where others fail ...............

Ugh. This is so frustrating. I have two main ADVs, one of which is almost clear and 80/20 PG/VG. The other is a light amber color (in the bottle - it gets a little darker after being vaped) and is 70/30 PG/VG. I can go for about two weeks on a coil with the first juice. The other juice barely makes it a week before the quality starts tapering off. I can't believe that little bit of difference in PG/VG and color can affect a coil so much!

Derall did tell me that they use extra flavoring in all of the juices but, no matter the company making the juice, I've always had this problem (even without extra flavoring). I've been trying to weed out all of the darker juices in my collection but it's difficult sometimes because you might end up liking a flavor that's really dark in color (for example the certain vanilla's that I really like turn dark orange, but the flavor can't be beat). So I guess it's a give and take, type of thing here for now.One of the juices I got from derall starts out clear and after a couple of hours, it gets dark and gunks up my coils. It's the one that tastes like fruit stripe gum.
I still have yet to rebuild an air, but this juice might make it happen sooner than later.![]()
I see the same thing. I used to buy a B&M pomegranate that was reddish in colour - coils were killed fast and the draw was not as airy. A DIY mix of pomegranate is basically clear (using FlavourArt) - coils last way longer and the draw is more airy.I agree. It seems that the darker juice gunks up faster and ages the coils faster whereas the lighter ones burn cleaner and longer. Not sure. It could be that the coils are inconsistent also. This is why I want to start recoiling them to see how long I can go without fiddling around with them. It's not that I'm that lazy, I just like to fill 'em and go.
That tells me that it can be done Calli. Wonder why the companies won't mix their juice like that? Do you know what they're using to make these so dark? Could it be the nicotine?I see the same thing. We should start a boycott on that coloring! The nicotine will turn yellowish as it oxidizes. Most of the colored e-liquids have coloring added. It's all about marketing and sales.
We should start a boycott on that coloring!Come to think of it, my cousin came into visit from out of state and her eliquid was blue. Pretty, but we don't need pretty when it comes to this.

Cool! I use 70 VG.The nicotine will turn yellowish as it oxidizes. Most of the colored e-liquids have coloring added. It's all about marketing and sales.
I'm not using factory heads anymore, only rebuilds and RBAs. But I can go 3-4 weeks before the coils need to be dry-burned and re-wicked. Vaping 70-80% VG.
Exactly what I told her jokingly. I asked her if it was windshield wiper fluid. The juice she had was super tasting though.Every time I see a cocktail made with blue curacao, I think someone is drinking Windex! Let's get the added coloring out of our vapes, darn it!
Grrrrr! I just dropped one of my Isticks and now it's dead. Can anyone give me any tips on how to resurrect it? The tank is fine. I took it off and put it on another Istick.
The dead Istick is only a month or so old, though and I really hope I didn't kill it completely.

Did you try plugging it in as if to recharge? Sometimes that reboots it...Grrrrr! I just dropped one of my Isticks and now it's dead. Can anyone give me any tips on how to resurrect it? The tank is fine. I took it off and put it on another Istick.

I can only speculate as to why juice companies mix in certain ways IMR... most likely money or appeal/differentiation or marketing or some mix of those variables. That tells me that it can be done Calli. I was considering that but had not tried it yet.Did you try plugging it in as if to recharge? Sometimes that reboots it...
A lot of the flavorings contain natural extracts which tend to be naturally colored. Fine for eating, maybe not for vaping. I think the natural extracts tend to gunk coils more than artificial flavors. I don't think the artificial colorings do as much to gunk coils, but I don't want them or need them. I do know that clear liquids, excepting sweeteners, tend to cause fewer problems for me.The nicotine will turn yellowish as it oxidizes. Most of the colored e-liquids have coloring added.
