Great sale. But out of everything that I want, they carry only one... :(

update on the silicone insulators/grommets- it seems they are not as thick at the bottom as the originals, so I've had to get my thumbnail between each bottom section (head and grommet, grommet and center pin) before screwing in, to make sure a connection is made with the tank base.. I use a GSA base to test fire after the coil is done, and they all read fine, until I put them in their intended M tank base. maybe I squished 'em together too much during the lining wrap and cover placement, who knows..

just did 10 this morning, using one right now, and happy about it!

I wrapped a couple of new coils with the silicone also, same thing...had a hard time getting it to read on
the meter, but worked fine in the tank. I think you're right about possibly pushing the grommet in too hard.
A kind word and a gentle touch go a long way with these...;)

Si, I've mostly been lurking lately. If I hang out too much, I start spending money I shouldn't.

Good to see you all though! :)

the silicone o-rings just shipped today from FT.. so maybe end of next week I'll have a review!
Looking forward to it! With the grommets and if the o rings work I'll be using this tank for some time.

I have a conumdrum possibly the logic here can solve...
The Air tanks have the weakness of their threads being softer than the threads on the istick.
I notice I get black gunk build up on the threads of the tank and they get looser over time
telling me they are wearing down.
Which is the better option?
Rotate through my stock of tanks wearing them all evenly until failure all the way around?
Use one or two tanks exclusively until they wear out?
What is the Air head consensus on this?

Option thurrreeeeee: screw the Air base into a 510 to 510 extender, which unless it's stainless, will be as soft as the Air base. I do this with all my sundry GS tanks, and see no sign of base degradation.

I dunno Cheech, Right now I have 10 tanks in rotation 8 of which are airs. I like to switch out flavors a lot but I don't vape while at work. Only one of my airs has gone soft on me and doesn't like the Istick anymore. I switched it over to the CF4 to try and get more life out of it and that seems to work for the time being. This particular tank is my travel flavor; so I'm guessing I use it more than the others. I've about decided to either switch out the base with a newer tank or travel with the cool fire. Is that lazy or what? Certainly be nice if the eleaf folks sold replacement parts for these little gems. I've only started using the GSAirs since the M and MS came out and seems pretty quick to strip the thread doesn't it? Anywho, I will restock my tank supply with any 4th of July sales (crossing my fingers there will be some) and rotate out the gimpy tanks as they wear down. I don't think I will want to replace them all at once.

On a side note I bought a Innokin Isub tank to try out; curiosity killed the cat and all. Not sure I'm liking it all that much. After the initial nicotine rush, I had to stop vaping for a bit. Definitely would need lower than 6 nic for that sucker.
